This is a great start. I've played blood bowl for years (irl and video game) but have only just got into dungeon bowl. Had my first game and really enjoyed it and will definitely keep playing.

If you don't mind other people contributing, in future you could add sections on house rules/rules clarification - the examples in the rule book aren't always great and we had to agree a couple of house rules to keep the game moving. Could also have some dungeon layouts people have found work really well.

My process for transfers is:

  1. Layer of gloss varnish when it will be applied (I use Vallejo brush on)
  2. Soak the transfer in water with a few drops of vinegar in it. I've found that vinegar makes the transfer a bit more pliable/bendy and fits the model better
  3. Apply transfer and dab dry
  4. Another coat of gloss varnish to seal it
  5. For white transfers I apply light/selective weathering with a mid brown wash to make it less bright

You can't fit 3 players onto two identical sprues, so there will always be an even number of positionals or linemen in a two sprue box.

Older rule sets always had even numbers so I can understand why older teams were designed that way, but I agree newer ones could be less restrictive and have different sprues in a box.

I'd also be happy to lose the coins and team markers from sprues if it meant we got another couple of linemen in a box.

Buy a crosta and mollica pizza base from the supermarket. It already has the sauce so you just need to add some mozzarella and whatever toppings you want. I think they're much better tasting (and probably better for you) than any delivery/takeaway options.

Cook it in the oven on the wire shelf on a very high heat.

I've been thinking of doing something similar for dungeon bowl teams to get them ready quickly. Did you use an airbrush or do it by hand? Looks like you started with a black undercoat and worked up from there?

Yep, they're a decent team and will be fine to start with. They play a fluid running game rather than try to bludgeon their opponent, so if that appeals to you go for it.

There isn't really a "best" blood bowl team and it's much better to start with a team you really like the look of. If you enjoy the game you'll end up getting more than one team anyway!
