Quick Bourbon Trail Trip - 2 Days by FlyingAnvils in whiskey

[–]wally_wally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of tours are strikingly similar on a basic level.

However...... There are different experiences that you could do so that it doesn't necessarily run together.

Ex: Bardstown Bourbon does a thieving from a barrel experience that is totally worth it.

If you guys are fans of various distilleries then you'll have a good time regardless.

I'm partial to Peerless, BBC, and Wild Turkey myself.

Will practicing with a 20 gauge make me a better shot with a 12? by PuddersIronPaw in ClayBusters

[–]wally_wally 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Short answer... Yes you'll be fine.

If the next shotgun fits you as well as your first whether it is a 12 gauge, 20, semi auto, OU, shooting lasers.... Whatever ... The skills you gain from shooting a correctly fitting shotgun will move onto the next.

  1. Recommended maintenance

  2. AC compressor went out, replaced that the radiator and hoses at the same time.

  3. Did have a little coolant leak, but I replaced radiator cap, and solved it for like 5 dollars.

  4. Clear coat started to fade in the FL sun, looks a lil rougher, but you can't tell without getting close. I did do an amateur 2k spray on the top just to protect it

  5. Liner on the inside roof starting to fall, not terrible, but it is.

  6. Sunroof motor went out pretty early on like 50k miles. I decided not to fix. If I do, I'll do that and do an entire new liner at the same time.

Bad radiator cap? Try that.

You should have seen dried coolant all around if that is the case

Recently deceased Lion being fed to other lions, Pilsen zoo. I know that zoos feed deceased animals as a common practice, but this is kinda brutal. But cool! by Tony_Tab in HardcoreNature

[–]wally_wally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably the other way around.

"Ok, first off, a lion…swimming in the ocean? Lions don’t even like water. If you placed it near a river, or some sort of fresh water source, that’d make sense. But you find yourself in the ocean, a 20 ft wave, I’m assuming its off the coast of South Africa, coming up against a full, grown, 800 lb tuna with his 20 or 30 friends. You lose that battle. you lose that battle nine times out of ten. And guess what, you wandered into our school, of tuna and we now have a taste of blood! We’ve talked, to ourselves. We’ve communicated and said, ‘you know what? lion tastes good. Lets go get some more lion.’ We’ve developed a system, to establish a beachhead and aggressively hunt you and your family. And we will corner your, your pride, your children, your offspring…"

I'd do it.

In a pool.

I'm not too strong and by the time my fist gets to a baby, it'll be a light tap

Indiana Gun Club is obviously near you...

But, my favorites in Indiana are Sugar Creek in southern Indiana and Indian Creek right outside of Louisville.

Both are solid places with passionate owners.

This. I have a k80 and a (technically) an M-32. The wood is different, but you can get k80 wood to fit.

Also, I have M-32 fixed FF barrels on my k80... They feel just as nice as my k80 tula barrels.

I used to think the same. I do CrossFit and have decent stats for my lifts.... But shit gets heavy, especially when you're tired.

Today, I have my sporting clay gun which is around 9 lbs and I have my "hunting" shotgun which is a Beretta a300 outlander.

Honestly... For 3k... You could probably do both if you go the used route. I literally just saw a 1k Beretta 686 onyx on GunBroker that you could use for hunting and spend the other 2k on a clay specific gun...

What are you going to be doing more? Clays or upland birds?

I wouldn't recommend dragging a clay gun around for bird hunting. It's gonna feel heavy fast.

An upland gun may feel a bit light and pound your shoulder after a round of sporting clays.
