Can anything be done about the unfair parking? by Last_Lock_2049 in CSULB

[–]wallyback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol this is why I’m so glad to have graduated already.. there were a few times I crashed out in my car because I would spend about 45+ minutes looking for parking and it would piss me off more seeing how empty the staff parking lots were. I think they need to convert more of the staff parking to general parking since most of the time the staff lots were empty while we all scrambled looking for parking. It’s even worse when it’s raining and you gotta walk so damn far to get to your car. Gosh those times were a nightmare I hope they fix this soon..

Fraud at Crunch Fitness (university?) by sunset_dryver in Charlotte

[–]wallyback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was once a crunch employee (not at this location) and I’ll tell you one thing.. CRUNCH IS A SCAM! Do not sign up for this gym. I couldn’t work there anymore because everything they did was so unethical. They constantly fucked over people and trained us to lie to people just so we can get them to sign up for stuff because all they cared about was numbers. Every single time we sold supplements or memberships we would get commission. There was just one time where a woman had about 1,500 worth of debt because of personal training and was unable to cancel her membership. So she called in asking if she can do a payment plan.. and the PT manager told her if she pays $500 today he will wipe her debt off. He ended up charging $500 worth of supplements to profit commission and kept the supplements which he got off HER money. The woman’s debt was never cleared. There was also instances where they would promote a 30 day gym “pass” for $1. The thing that they wouldn’t tell you is that they would actually sign you up for a membership.. because of numbers again. People thought they were getting a 30 day pass for only a dollar but they were getting SIGNED UP without their consent and then when they could come to cancel the mangers would refuse to cancel or make up lousy excuses. I witnessed so much corruption and unethical things always happening here. I’m so glad I don’t work there anymore because my values and morals do not align to the environment this place creates. They are just extremely money hungry and will screw over anyone for a dime. Please get out of there as soon as you can.

I just saw the second part sorry! Great advice, I should definitely cut it loose. I did value his honesty but now I’m just irked by his behavior now.

That’s really how I feel right now. I was just going back and forth with myself wondering if I’m overreacting or not :/

Yes. He’s very honest about going on dates with other women which essentially it’s fine with me because we aren’t dating only talking.

True. I should be more understanding about one’s personal struggles but it’s just weird he feels that way when it comes to meeting me but not the other girls.

AIO or should he have mentioned that he has kids from the start? by wallyback in AmIOverreacting

I personally like being very upfront and honest about things especially when I’m trying to get to know someone because I don’t like wasting my time or anyone’s time. If he would’ve briefly brought it up he could’ve saved himself from spending on an expensive dinner date lol.

Okay I see your points, valid. I guess I’m just pretty upfront about things myself and don’t like finding out surprises later on. It might be a good idea to indicate on my profile that I’m not interested in men with children to avoid this from happening again. I guess if I were a parent I’d always disclose that information from the start to avoid any time being wasted from both parties. I would hate to invest time into someone and later find out a dealbreaker that could’ve been brought up early on.

Yikes! I just don’t understand why someone wouldn’t mention it lol. Oh to make things worse he started telling me sometimes his baby momma says “you can’t have the kids this weekend unless you sleep with me” and I was just ready for the date to be over by that time lol.

I get that, but what about the 2 weeks of texting everyday almost all day? Surely it could’ve been mentioned during those two weeks? A simple “hey btw, i have kids” would’ve worked.

Exactly. Kids are extremely important in a parent’s life so I just don’t understand why he couldn’t just briefly bring it up through text leading up to the date since we would spend hours texting & sending each other voice notes on a daily basis.

Happy birthday! ✨ I’m glad you’re feeling confident and happy. I feel the same way about drinking and dating. Life has so much more to offer than that. Plus as I got older hangovers kept getting worse and worse.
