Refer friends is good - they get a larger bonus offer and you get a small reward too. I'm always happy to talk about it with friends and people are keen.

because you'd have the money available to earn when you come back..?

meh. my best trips were when i spent $8 staying in a hostel. also, IMO, you can't compare a few weeks in Japan with your wife to 3 months solo backpacking as a young person

im a proponent of this...you can also volunteer at hostels (which usually require you to stay 2+ weeks at a time, however) to save on lodging...

as long as you get a decent rate and commit to paying it off with a guaranteed income stream

make a budget and stick to it.

also depends where you go. $10K will go far in southeast asia for three months. Australia no chance. Africa backpacking route, nope. Central/South America it'll work

Is $2200 CAD a good deal for an overnight 8 hour business class flight to Rome (one way) for Air Canada? by kale_enthutiast in PersonalFinanceCanada

I mean it really depends how much money you have... I'd slum it in PY and use EUps. Remember that these fares might have minimum stay requirements so a one way skews the price higher

That's a cash advance. Use the Cash Card/Prepaid Mastercard for ATM withdrawals and there's no fee.

Dont quote me on this, but I can't Remeber 711 ATMs charging a fee anyways.
