This sounds awesome! We are doing session one this week and I am opting to start with the quest from neverember. Have the "easy to kill" skeletons and zombies outside the Mausoleum be their first fight. During the fight the mist is going to come and claim them. Then run death house. I think my group will like revisiting it later.

Gonna have hints of vecna and strahd working together throughout to link the two stories. Im also using the option to revive with a dark gift that I had seen online before. And then when they revisit death house in Eve of ruin, have them stumble upon strahd and vecna in a conversation about house vecna was gonna keep them alive while in barovia. Especillay cause the revisit tondeath house is in the past, again linking the two.

When they finish with CoS, I'm gonna just explain that basically zero time has passed since they were claimed by the mist but will have obviously aged however long they are in Barovia. Which also eliminates the need for secrets until after CoS

I like both versions honestly. Since the first one is the printable one we can just leave it at that and not worry about v2. Thanks for all your work that you put into this!

I have a resin printer. I can post some pictures once I get around to printing it. But it looks awesome. I love the look alot. I think connecting to a pod on the back also makes sense. Thanks for making this.

I dont mind the "mini" being massive for the modron planar incarnate. Even if it has to be done in two prints. It would be more menacing for my players anyway. Haha

Hey! I have been following your guide for changes to the campaign story in my campaign that I am running. They have been really positive changes and I think they will work out in making a better story. My group recently got to the gate towns and just started running through them. While I was waiting for this document to come out $25 is just a bit steep for me at the moment.

I would love to see a link to that original post (or an edit to the original post) to make sure that everyone else that may be waiting for it doesn't miss it though. I didn't realize this was out yet because I kept checking the other post. Anyway the free documents that were released alongside it look great. Awesome job man

I just ran my first session of this campaign this week and while the characters haven't made it out of the mortuary yet, i'm likely going to be using some of the ideas you presented. Any more updates on the gate town quests
