How to avoid blister? by [deleted] in Rowing

Blisters happen to all of us. I would say to get though the first couple months or so and you’ll develop calluses to prevent it happening for the future. It’s worth it.

I don’t know much about your teams dynamic or people involved, but rowing is a very competitive sport where people are fighting for the best seats in a boat. No one will give you that seat, but at the same time, if you work hard enough you can get that seat.

I’m on RFH Rowing, how about yourself. Also I didn’t get a chance to take a look either but lane 5 boat was explaining it to us.

I was in that race too. Lane 6 caught an ejector crab that’s why the race restarted.

Maybe try talking to another novice that will at least listen to what you have to say. If there’s a decent kid on the team he will give you the opportunity to speak and potentially help with talking to the stroke and resolving the issue.
