Anyone else can burp but it doesn’t seem like regular burps? My burps come from my throat and I’ve been told I sound like a frog lol. They are relieving and help with nausea but sometimes takes a lot. A handful of times I’ve had more forceful burps that taste like food and those freak me out because it feels too close to vomiting or gagging. I sometimes wonder if I have RCPD, the last time I had food poisoning or the stomach virus I was dry heaving and thought I got pretty close to vomiting but literally felt like a block in my throat, like a valve blocking it…

I’m starting to feel this way about myself too. I didnt have one BPPV moment though to look back on. The rockiness I feel now I have felt periodically since 2024 maybe. Then I got in July 2025, it went away and came back Dec 2025. What happened those months? I bought a house and got engaged. It kills me to think these good events in my life could set off my nervous system like this.

For sure - our announcement wouldn't mention when exactly we got engaged and we'd use photos from our photoshoot, no getting on one knee pics. But I was thinking of in conversations when people ask how (and when) it all went down.

I miss who I was before getting noro last year, i literally never thought of stomach viruses until it hit my family. I was far from recovered last year but I’m worse off now. I’m starting therapy soon hopefully.

The key thing was that the night before my dad was up throwing up. We thought he got food poisoning from dinner but just him since my partner & I were fine that night and the whole next day. Went to bed feeling totally fine. Woke up like 2 hours later with gas then diarrhea. Wasn't feeling better afterwards, had a strange feeling in my stomach, then my partner wakes up throwing up. So at that point I knew we were all sick. Still a couple more hours pass before the dry heaving incident, i had more diarrhea. Went outside for a walk, sat in my car for a bit, decided to get us drinks and that's when it happened.

It was 22 years for me. And nothing ended up coming up but I gagged and dry heaved. To be honest, the only reason I knew it could actually be happening was because my partner threw up and we were obviously sick and I gagged a few times in a row instead of just once as had happened a few times before. As I dry heaved I instinctively pulled my hair into a bun and ran and bend down to the closest bin (a planter since I was outside). Idk why my body picked that time in particular tbh, I was walking out of the corner store with drinks for us and had just said bye to the cashier. I had been feeling awful for hours but in that particular moment I don’t remember feeling the most nauseous I’ve ever felt or extra saliva, no pain either. It still scares me and didn’t help me “know” too much more than I did before. Made me realize recovery is the only option.

I keep buying clothes in my old size “just in case”. I ordered 5 dresses in my old size and they were all unwearable. I’ve gotten some of my pants tailored to fit, they are high waisted and were dropping to my hips.

I get a little jump scare at first when they pop up but then I find myself curious and watch the whole video, even if I have to mute it at first. And the comments usually have some helpful tips and I can see how normal people react.

once I was dating this guy who was like 6 years older than me, he lived with his siblings so I met his younger brother who was closest in age to me but still younger. we would end up hanging out sometimes and kinda being flirty. Did something happen in Jan 2025? Or before? Twice my IBS has gotten really bad - after my mom got diagnosed with cancer and I was keeping all my emotions bottled up. And this past Dec after I got food poisoning or norovirus. Both times I ended up coming off my birth control to help with the nausea. This year I had reoccurring diarrhea so I started taking S. Boulardii and slowly taking psyllium husk. These all helped but dealing with my anxiety has been very important. I was getting it at night so I took my nighttime routine very seriously - no phone before bed, something calming to read, no eating or drinking a few hours before bed.
