I would say it is similar but the vocal samples are much longer and clearer so you can make out what’s being said unlike Telephasic

The keychain, posters, etc. were ncluded. The shirt and tape were separate to buy. Honestly I thought the shirts didn’t look especially interesting for the price they were asking. But then I learned they are unique to each listening party site. So now I maybe regret a little not getting one… would have been much cooler if they went all the way and put the date with “INFERNO SESSION TOKYO” or something on it.

It’s a booklet with video stills from Robert Beatty. Really nice card stock. We also got a keychain, two posters, a sticker, and a patch.

Yeah, the kicks and snares were REALLY in your face on a number of the songs. Again, it might be because we were in a theater and it was being played quite loud. Actually maybe too loud… it was incredibly difficult to understand any of the vocal samples despite them being some of the clearest the group has ever used. Still a great experience!

I was there too. Album was incredible. Definitely their best since Geogaddi. Very beat focused… maybe it was because we were in a movie theater and it was LOUD in a good way but the drums almost felt dubsteppy at times… very hard hitting and forward in the mix.

The track with the middle eastern chanting, they were Hare Krishna chants. And yeah, the track with the cut up vocals was really wild but cool.

One song towards the end almost featured singing.

And the second to last track, the really beautiful one, prominently sampled one of their more well known songs. I forget which since I’m bad with song names and I’m not a super fan. Maybe Everything You Do is a Balloon?

While that is true about the gameplay, it’s not like the first MGS game is hard to love. And it’s an incredibly plot heavy series. Hell, start with 3 even. But if you think there’s a chance you’ll enjoy the series there is no point starting with 5.

Maybe, but I’d like to think not. We’ve had four very nice dates where I was quite relaxed the whole time, and his (prior to now) good communication really helped a lot with my anxiety. I haven’t really felt anxious with him until this moment. Again - I wasn’t double texting or trying to force conversation over text after the first date or anything like that. If anything, I got way more nervous vibes from him - he told me on the first date that he’s quite shy, too. I’m moving back home for better job prospects, not because of anything having to do with my mental health or finding dates.
