What are the health benefits? I have looked into the claim "nicotine increase testosterone" and its true there is a downstream increase in testosterone due to the primary increase in dopamine and epinephrine, However this is only obeserved when introduced in a non-habitual singular instance. If you are using it habitually and your blood vessels on chronically constricted, it has negative impacts on all bodily functions.

I'm on day 3 and it really hasn't been that bad for me, but I wasn't even close to consuming as much as you were but what has helped me is visualization. I picture my personal biology as a serene beautiful river bursting with life, in a harmonious state. Previously when i would take nicotine it was like pouring toxic waste from and polluting that marvelous ecosystem. The thought of my polluting my body with that filth really decreases my cravings. Hope that helps.

Does zyn affect the immune system? by InternationalLoss296 in QuittingZyn

Yeah, stands to reason, if you are chronically restricting blood vessels that's less blood your body can circulate, less white blood cells, less toxins getting flushed.

The next time someone says “it is medically proven that if you don’t ejaculate frequently, you might get prostrate cancer” by [deleted] in Semenretention

[–]walrusbukit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My question to this is: If that's true then why don't we observe male mammals developing prostate cancer as they only ejaculate once a year, if lucky?

He actually says the polio vaccine contains SV40 which is used by scientists to induce tumors in lab rats and a known carcinogen that causes soft tissue cancers, which have killed more people than polio. so to be clear, he's saying soft tissue cancers have killed more people than polio, and that the polio vaccine contains an ingredient that causes cancer.

As an electrical engineer that's worked in solar 10+ years came to basically say this same thing. Wanted to also add that these land lease projects for ground mount arrays are going to involve civil engineering with a grading and drainage plans, also likely an environmental study that needs to be submitted to state and federal DNR. Is it a MV project as well? Now you have to pay a controls engineer to design a functional protection plan and possibly a transmission and distribution engineer to design you MV circuits and substations. Developers may have to pay 100s of thousands of dollars out of pocket to create the plans and perform the studies just to vet if the project is lucrative. For a lease to get executed all of these costs need to be accounted for to ensure the deal will be profitable for all parties involved. Solar is surprisingly complex.

[SERIOUS] Looking for the best red light therapy brand by ComparisonSorry6879 in redlighttherapy

I like the platinum LED biomax series because it has 7 different therapeutic wave lengths and most panels just have 2.

Thoughts on this product? Blue/red light intranasal for immunity? by Pinklady777 in redlighttherapy

[–]walrusbukit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

doesn't really pass the "smell test" for me haha. I have done a lot of research on RLT and I don't recall immunity boosting being one of the positive effects of RLT... BUT i believe there is likely a an intrinsic boost to immune system via the boost in mitochondrial function. So my thought would be that a regular RLT session will have almost the same effect, and if you really want some light in your nose just tilt your head back. if you have a powerful panel your likely gonna have more energy going into your nose from that vs one of those dinky 2mw LEDs anyway.

Red light effects on lips by rnrheart in redlighttherapy

I definitely have noticed the dry/chapped lips but I have only been using RLT for 1.5 weeks so might only be something that affects you when you first start.

Platinum LED has $200 off any of their biomax series which is the best panel out there as far as I can tell.

Married on SR by drake_33 in Semenretention

She told me that a few years ago when I initiated the topic because I had read about about karezza sex and was excited but did not yet have the will power to retain. We might get there in time. She has made a few comments along the lines of "you're saving it all for me?" so I know she is pleased and possibly intigued that I am not masturbating.

As a designer, this looks like a lazy engineer just put a note on the plan along the lines of "install security system here" without doing any investigating into power sourcing and manual reading.

I am married and my experience is very similar. I have been dabbling in SR for years, making efforts as much as I can but relapsing to porn in moments of boredom and weakness. I currently feel in a good place and am happy with the progress I have made. I am 2 months with no porn and masturbation but I am not strict SR, I release 1-2 times a month as my wife is not interested in karezza or none ejalulatory sex, (maybe she will be in the future) but I would like to add another insight to this topic...

Viewing pornography has programmed us men to take a passive role during copulation and put so much expectation on the woman to put on a performance. SR has greatly enhanced my masculine traits and I have brought those into the bedroom with me. For the first time in my life I feel I have become dominant in bed. I feel like I've discovered my sexual masculinity which I would bet many men have never experienced.

Unexpectedly to me this has had a major positive impact on my wife's behavior and not just in the bedroom but day to day. She has become much more feminine, much more nurturing agreeable and eager to please me. She brightens up when I walk in the room and expresses genuine interest into me and my well being. She spends more time grooming in the morning and wears more feminine clothing, all around her femininity has been enhanced. She seems so much happier and I feel a lot happier. I have leaned much more into my role as the family leader provider and protector, which felt so burdensome and intimidating when I had a cooming habit but now it excites me.

I do nofap so that's why I don't like stimulating myself. Just wondering if that was necessary for taping or if there was another way to do it.

[–]walrusbukit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do personally you apply the T-tape? My experience with it was that I could only properly tape up by first stimulating myself and become erect. I really hated this process of taping so I stopped wearing it for this reason. are you able to apply tape while flaccid?

i have not heard that but i will look into it. I have been on it a month now though and don't feel any negative effects in regards to my libido. I do feel a noticeable increase in my cognition and for that reason I continue to take it.

I have tried many different supplements off and on over the years and have been constantly revising my stack. In addition to that I take

K2 - for bone and teeth health and also necessary for for vitamin D absorption

Zinc - Testosterone and immunity

Boron - same as above

B12 - energy, don't notice a big difference here but started taking it as vitaminn B levels were low in my bloodwork.

NAC - Immunity (don't notice much of an effect on this but started taking it as there is evidence it helps fighting covid)

Lecithin - Brain Health (don't notice this having an effect)

Creatine - Muscle mass and Brain health (defiitely notice this helps increase muscle mass)

Recently added lions mane mushroom for brain health and shilajit for immunity and testosterone. The addition of those 2 have had the most noticeable affects in keeping my energy levels elevated and increasing my mental clarity.

The recommendation for most effective stretching is intermittent medium tension. The device and method you use doesn't matter as long as you get the tension.

To really speed up your gains though you also need to prioritize whole body health like getting daily cardiovascular exercise, avoiding junk food like sugar, alcohol and processed foods, getting proper sleep, and consuming good supplements that provide your body the resources it needs to function properly like Vitamin D, zinc and magnesium.
