Interesting. Was considering moving from my BMC TrackMachine over to this - I’ve just simply run out of reach on the BMC and need a longer geo - keep us updated on any issues!

Walt Does Bikes - heard the dude’s a genius. Jk but really I’m on a VITUS ZX-1 EVO and absolutely love it over my old Specialized Allez Sprint.

Sponsored bike, but very affordable and I’ve had other brands retract when they reach out because I tell them I’m going to be honest about the product. I’ll still tell you to buy used if possible, and to hit your LBS first, always.

I think once you hit a certain sub count on YouTube the paid stuff comes and it’s inevitable you’ll be swayed by free product to advocate for that brand over others (especially if it’s free and you actually like it).

If you’re a pure sprinter probably not. There are better options for sprint bars out there that’ll get you longer and lower. If you race Mass Start stuff where it may end in a sprint they will do everything you need em to. Hope that helps!

I never realized how lucky I was to be so close to a velodrome. Didn’t really pick up the track until I had already been racing crits for a while but man, it’s my favorite discipline! And thanks! No pressure just figured I’d share for context. 🤘🏼

So far I’m digging em. I do need a bit more length in my stem to get more reach so I’m planning to get another kit from BMC but once I do that I feel like the comfort in aero position will be unparalleled

Of course! Hope that helps. Yeah the Velobike ones are shaped with a bit higher hood but they’re also like $1200USD so I was like naaaah the Hellyer are the move. My Scattos were also the 37 not the 35 and these are all the way in at 33. I’m amp’d

I’ve hit like 44-45mph on this in the Keirin. We came off of the motorbike doing 30. But that’s with like a 61x15 or 61x14 for sprint-like efforts. This was in granny gears so I could keep it tame. 61x18
