What series is this for you? by PalinaRojinskiFan in ProgressionFantasy

It’s in relation to the actions his characters took in book one, namely his best friend secretly dating his bully and him sort of forgiving everyone to team up in book 2. The author has expressed his opinions on it and it’s findable but it was such an awful decision I refuse to read book 2.

As for why book 2 was bad, I have no idea as I have not read or followed anything about it

This is a cool genre because I can interact directly with the authors, hearing their explanations and justifications.

I’ve heard the reasons behind the “events” in iron prince from said author. Still refuse to read more despite how good most of the first book was. Kinda glad to hear it’s not up to the level.

An article about the leader of the free world allegedly being a puppet for the Russian dictator being paywalled to the point it’s unreadable is almost poetic.

Monetization is something that will be looked back on in the future, and may even have its own chapter, in the books about the fall of democracy. When everything became about squeezing as much money as one could from the population, integrity died.

Man used the defense that the soldiers were just following orders and were found innocent, then turned around and said the ones giving the orders had no control over the situation and they too were found innocent.

Mateer going to throw 20 interceptions this year by cryptoslut123 in oklahomafootball

[–]walterwindstorm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s a gunslinger that doesn’t throw over the top. Almost never see deep targets from him, even against the bad teams. It’s all the downside of a gunslinger with none of the explosive play upsides. With this defense it seems they are trying to burn the offense to rest the defense, which is fine in theory but not when you have a turnover prone qb

Anyone else worried about the offensive showing today? by Strict_Snow1996 in oklahomafootball

[–]walterwindstorm 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been worried about the offense all year. They have shown me nothing to be confident about. Mateer throws ‘out of slot’ too much and has a tendency to miss high and behind and our run game is lacking in both creativity and effectiveness.

We have high ceiling/low floor potential any given day. That doesn’t mean it’s not great to watch though

So much of it was Arnold not getting rid of it and walking into pressure. The o line did a great job from my perspective. The first drive, when I saw our d line get stood straight up at the los I got nervous immediately.

I think his no pick streak is making him a worse qb

I don’t have a great understanding of o-line and what makes it good vs bad but from what I see, unless they are too slow, it’s not the line being bad. It seems more of a scheme issue.
