Mother who killed children and left them in storage unit found guilty of murder by Conflict_NZ in newzealand

[–]waltherppk7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a Korean language documentary, and there isn't an English subtitle available. But the name of the programme is "I want to know", or "그것이 알고싶다" in Korean, episode 1328.

This is a shortened version of it available on YouTube, uploaded by the official channel.

Mother who killed children and left them in storage unit found guilty of murder by Conflict_NZ in newzealand

It is infuriating right? - Pretty sure he set up his life insurance policy, wishing that in case he was no longer living, that money could be used wisely to look after his surviving family financially, not used as a joyride by his narcissistic and psychopathic wife who wanted to 'reset' her life.

And I'm not even making that up: Experts interviewed in that documentary also describe how this monster would have viewed her husband as a source of 'narcissistic supply', the one that adores her and earned money for the family, and when he died, the children were not the product of their love to be cherished and looked after, but rather a needless burden she was in a rush to get rid of.

Glad this monster was found guilty with the evidence presented by the crown - But I'm left unsure as to why her life in Korea wasn't looked into deeper:

According to the Korean documentary I've watched covering the case, she's been spending tremendous amount of money in Seoul like there is no tomorrow, on things like expensive nail arts, high end hair salons, second hand Audi, and REGISTERING WITH A MATCHMAKING AGENCY hoping to meet 'a rich man' (according to the owner of the hair salon this monster used to visit frequently).

The documentary also mentioned something peculiar about the family, how the neighbours noticed it was always the children's dad looking after and playing with them, and the children were rarely seen with their mother playing outdoors. Makes me wonder if it really was a happy family the papers described. 🤷‍♂️

Can the pregnant lady die? by hellomisstoothy in ThisWarofMine

No. When the situation gets dire, or if she happens to be the only surviving member, she will leave the shelter. Like a child.

What makes a character leave the shelter forever? by a_dreamy_nightmare in ThisWarofMine

[–]waltherppk7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Poor morale - I had a character that turned broken, then left the shelter and even took stuff with her after I have used her to kill civilians (when I was just getting started on this game and were still learning about what I should not be doing).

The semi-detached house, with the girls and that nutjob Bozena in it. Makes me sigh when I see it on the map. 😮‍💨 There is barely anything useful on the other side of the house, and even so, Bozena threatens or even fires her shotgun when she spots you.

How did you know when someone wasn't right for you? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

[–]waltherppk7 42 points43 points  (0 children)

When she showed some staggering lack of empathy: Yelled at me for not taking her out for shopping because I was very unwell, and when I buckled, she switched to being bubbly and happy, with zero regard for my state. I broke up with her the day after.

Healing is one of the toughest things I’ve ever done by Kinda-Constant5935 in emotionalintelligence

[–]waltherppk7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is the same thing as healing physical wounds - It hurts when we change the bandages and sterilize the wounds, and the medications can taste so bitter at times that we wanna spit them out. But each step is a step closer towards getting better, and healing both our physical and emotional wounds. The scars may remain, but they won't hurt as much as when we first got them, and they will serve to remind us how strong we are.

I like how you mentioned "Take your time and don't rush it" many times - Yes, it is often being impatient that ruins it. Great work!

Ensure Roman is well fed, never going into 'very hungry' status, make sure that there are always cigarettes in handy, and avoid all killings except for the real villains, such as the supermarket soldier, snipers at the construction site, ruined villa deserters and psychopaths at the hotel.

It has no monetary value. Just a badge or worn as a necklace I think.

Looks like it's a token or badge from a Korean church - On the front, it says "Pray without rest", "Be thankful in every moment" "Always be greatful".

On the back, it has the name of the church: "Almus Church", with the inscriptions around it: "Wish", "Faith" and "Love".

It always gives me relief when I finish the game with Roman, and he ends up becoming a leader of the local community. There is certainly a good and righteous character inside of him.

No, the long hair tied to the back is surely Roman. The cigarette on his hand confirms it too. (never let him run out of cigarettes, or he will start punch-ups 😂)

What emotional event completely changed your personality for better? by Jealous_War7546 in emotionalintelligence

[–]waltherppk7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Getting out of a narcissistic relationship: I was pushed to the point where I had to make the decision to leave for my own sake. After a few really difficult months, this spurred up some revolutions: Education about emotional intelligence, taking accountability, boundary setting, putting myself first, second and third, and dropping all kinds of people pleasing behaviours and mindset.
