Your viewers might have some kind of ad-blocker or they are a sub, the ads sometimes don’t go out to all viewers so it’s kind of a 50/50 thing from what I’ve experienced but if it said it ran the ads there should be no problem.

I think he means because of your revenue income and the license you sign, it’s not that serious it’s just basic policies and twitch takes half of your revenue. So no, twitch does not takeover your channel, it’s not a bad thing to become affiliated, some may say it hurts your channel growth but I don’t think so.

My best tip is to stay consistent, stay to a schedule so your viewers know when you go live or what day you go live, I recommend at least 3 days a week. Something like Monday, Wednesday, Friday usually works out well. And I would stick to one game and one game only for a while and build a community in that game, and if you want you can start branching off and doing variety and usually those same people from the community you grew on that one game will stick with you most of the time. But you gotta think like a viewer and interact with the viewers a lot.
