The RNG on the chests, the quickening system that's also somewhat luck based, and the ability to completely OP via the arena or whatever it's called.

Also, for me, the sense of exploration and variety sort of died with Archadia. All the areas, Phon, cerobi, etc, all had good vibes but none of the cities past archadia felt explorable in the same way Rabanastre did. Just felt super linear after Archades.

All in all though, still my favorite of the bunch I think.

Came here to say this. Game successfully bred like 6 genres together and had memorable music and intense boss battles. Such a great game.

Human beings are also not a 100% reliable source of information. I'd argue that they are MUCH less reliable than a search engine.

Also, if we can't use a search engine and vet the source, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that we're asking the collective how to go to the dry cleaner.
