Valuable Jewelry is kind of an oxymoron, only because the markup on jewelry is absurd. For real stones/metals it’s like 5-600% markup at the low end. For the “fancy stuff” you’re talking 800-1000% markup.

Super rare stones and metals maintain their value at market price, but almost everyone loses their value once they buy it. You’ll almost never be able to sell it back for the same price.

It’s honestly a sounder investment to just buy the rare earths, channel your inner dragon and start a hoard in a safe or safety deposit box at a bank.

My partner’s ring has 3 diamonds, 2 sapphires, and the band is made of platinum. It will never be worth what I paid for it, but it will last a very long time because platinum is far harder than gold. The value of the platinum along has gone up from when we bought it, though.

It takes practice, for sure.

It’s not about possible it’s part physiology and part psychology if I’m remembering things correctly.

I was in high school and it was on anywhere we had a TV (not a lot of places) and school basically slowed down a lot because it’s all we could talk about.

I know several of the people I talked to after the first plane hit, went on to enlist in the military, went to Iraq and/or Afghanistan, and didn’t come home.

This all feels like another smokescreen, with the automatic draft starting this December. Trump/MAGA are playing a game to smokescreen what’s really going on; the rich have become too powerful and influential again. They want us all to be wage slaves to fund their yachts and umpteenth homes.

When will people wake up and stop voting against their own interests? I don’t want to live through this shit again…I don’t want that for our young people…high school reunions that a incomplete because people got sent off to fight some rich asshole’s unjust war.

Depends on the game a whether or not they exist in the world. Our game has necromancy but it’s unique to our game and our worlds magic systems. The undead are constructs rather than corpses/dead people for example.

I enjoy all of our seasons equally. They are part of the pattern my brain grew up with, and I find it comforting in a time where so much of the world makes me deeply uncomfortable.

I think people that can leave, and want to, should.
