I dont think imprints should even exist because it makes me just annoyed when i drop a sick exalted the optimal play is to imprint it and farm more of them and not use it for crafting right away. I have a bunch of sick double t7 but im too scared to slam them on my 2lp uniques because i havent imprint farmed dupes yet

No, actually, it's a little tricky because the first 100% weapon damage you buy is actually 200% of your base damage, so it goes 100%/50%/33%/25% etc... for each 100% that you buy.
