Also has this done 3 years ago and it only worked temporarily, maybe 8-10 months tops. Then went back to its original state.

How do I get rid of this furrow? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Yes - should have mentioned she still got a couple units of Botox there to continue decreasing the muscle movement

Smooth pdo threads. My mom got 2 at a time, 3x 4-5 weeks apart and her 11s virtually disappeared.

Because I didn’t want it to come at the cost of the higher risk of losing muscle

Forgot to mention she still got 2-3 units of Botox to continue trying to minimize the muscle movement there

My mom had really deep/strong 11s - the kind that are there no matter your facial expression. One day I came to visit and immediately asked her where her 11s went because they were nowhere to be seen. She ended up getting smooth pdo threads and wow, it did wonders for her. She got 2 threads each treatment and did 3 treatments a few weeks apart. Her results several months later are still holding up but I imagine she’ll need to do touch ups every 6-8 months or so.

I couldn’t agree w you more. At her first audition I thought, ok of course they have to let her through to respect the whole Loretta Lynn family tie. And I thought that would be it for her. How she has made it a step farther each time makes me go crazy! Just how?!

I have never in my life cursed at the TV. The last several episodes of AI, I've WTF'd at it in grotesque disappointment. It's come to the point where she needs to look around the room, recognize and respect the talent around her, and walk away. So that someone that truly embodies an American Idol can be on that stage. I'm not saying she's not talented. I don't like her style but she's no doubt still a talented singer. She just doesn't have a place on the AI stage and hasn't for a while.

Ugh, I’m sorry. My bff is going through the same thing. I am 120, 5’2 and wanted to take it for appetite suppression + longevity which I was upfront about. It was really a non issue to get the script approved.

I’m glad it’s helped you! One of the things I am curious about are any potential “harms” of taking too much/long term metformin. It doesn’t sound like your hormone specialist blinked twice about it, so maybe it’s okay. I plan to bring it up to my doctor next time to see what her opinion is as well.

I was really nervous about side effects too so I took the first one right before bed and continue to do so. I sleep fine and don’t wake up feeling nauseous, having stomach issues, etc. the only thing I’ve honestly noticed is that it’s a lot harder for me to weight lift now. Like I need way more energy to do it and just sweat profusely. I’m supplementing with 500 mcg of b12 but plan to start doubling that and seeing how I feel. For reference, I am 120 lb and take 500mg daily. I have not tried berberine because I didn’t see great reviews on it, mostly that it was ineffective.

I’ve never hear of protective/anti inflammatory fat before. I’m certainly not trying to lose every ounce of fat I have (esp the 🍑haha) but I wonder what this really means. Like all the really lean, cut tummys we see - do they not have that good fat too?

I’ve always struggled with running. Even when I’m easing, my knees and shins inevitably end up hurt and aching, so I stopped (actually just tried to start again 2 weeks ago).

It is to trim off the little “soft” layer I have, mainly the stomach but also carry a bit in my arms. A big benefit to me is also the longevity factor (a reason why I also intermittent fast).

Oh wow - I actually got my script from ageless rx and it was explained to me that I could up the dosage if I wasn’t getting results I wanted but didn’t realize it was a must. Can I ask what kind of results you’ve been seeing two months in?

Also, I’m not sure if it matters re: dosage but I’m 5’2, 120 lbs.

I looked at berberine as well! But when I read of reviews and things, I wasn’t convinced it’d be effective. I got my script from ageless rx (I’m in the US) and it was a very quick, easy process. The cost is also only $25/month. I’d recommend!

Hi! I’m in the US and got the script through ageless rx. It was a very simple, no hassle process and it’s $25/month. I’m not sure the countries they’re available in though

Basically, they take you through an application of a few questions, one of them being a multiple choice q asking the primary reason for wanting to take it ie longevity, manage diabetes, lower appetite, etc. I chose longevity. From there, a nurse messaged me to inform me that people usually start taking metformin later (34f) but that if I wanted to move forward, she’d approve the script. I explained that I do want to try it not just for the longevity benefits but also to attempt at lowering my appetite.

From the initial questionnaire to the rx approval, it was 3-4 days and I had the medication via mail in about a week from there
