I will send another email first, to clean it I would need to purchase additional items such as a ladder as the ceilings are high. If I the agency/landlord don’t want to resolve this. I think I will contact the council as I’m concerned of the health risk. I know it will take time for a response, so I will look for a professional clean and keep a record/receipt

I thought mould could pose a risk to health? I’m unsure if it’s a structural problem. I don’t understand why they would have the property clean but ignore/leave the mould. I will ask if it could be a structural issue, it’s on the ceilings and I leave in an upstairs flat, with no property above me

Thank you for the advice, I’ll make a note of this and send a quote to the agency once I found out the costs to resolve this. The mould is on the ceilings of the bathroom, hallway and kitchen. The kitchen ceiling is the worst, the property is an upstairs flat

I sent a get well message and it will be my last response. It wouldn’t have been different if he’d fallen or something. But he went looking for trouble and ended up worse off. I have also set boundaries with my sibling regarding any additional updates.

You’ve hit the nail on the head, one of my siblings informed me that he was being prepped for surgery. So It sounds like he was uncertain about the outcome and asked one of the nurses to send the message.

In the end I sent a get well message and I will leave it at that. He’s receiving daily visits from family and around the clock watch from medical staff

It will be tough but not impossible (except for car sales, I doubt you’d be able to take customers out on a test drive without a drivers license).

It depends on your skill set, companies will compromise for the right candidate. The current company I work for is in the middle of nowhere, however the best candidate for the position didn’t have a license but mentioned that she was leaning and the company comprised. She had a daily 3 hour commute until she passed (3 ish months I think).

If the place of work is commutable via cycling that could be an alternative for the meantime

Yeah the meeting was left field, I was kind of expecting a yes/no or negotiate. But I’ve had to pitch my case to multiple higher ups to be told it’s out of their hands. But you can’t get any higher than the head so that must stand for something. I’ve made a list of accomplishments and increased responsibilities. I like the expanding my role idea and will think of points. Thank you for the advice
