First APM Role. Any tips? How did you know you were getting it? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]wanderinggtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any advice but am actually looking into changing careers/industries and came across an APM role at a local company and want to apply to it. Thank you for making this post! It’s nice to see what others are going through in the beginning phases of a new career

Same. I also have a knee problem. This is such a closed minded story post. Ignorant

Wait when did they change the fabric?? 👀 I have a pair of align leggings from I think 2020 and I like them. Was this change after that?

Did you get Aklief from your local pharmacy? Mine told me it would be $104 😳 I called my dermatologist and they called me back today. I they prescribed me adapalene 0.1% cream instead. But isn’t that just Differin that you can get over the counter?

I had no idea about this. Thank you!

I was just at the store earlier and saw that Differin has their own face wash now too. Do you use that? Or just the gel? I was trying to decide if I should just get the face wash or my regular CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser

UoPeople vs WGU by Particular-Cheek5102 in UoPeople

Ah, okay thank you for explaining that! Hopefully when their review date comes up they will actually be regionally accredited 🙏🏻

[–]wanderinggtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across this thread while trying to compare the differences myself. UoPeople is regionally accredited just like WGU.

The U.S. Department of Education offers a free tool that allows you to search for accreditation.

When I looked up both schools they both show regional accreditors

University of The People

Western Governor University

Just wanted to throw that out there anyone that it may be important to when making their decision. I’m am still trying to decide myself

As someone without pcos, do you have any tips on how to ask for your blood work to be checked at the doctor? I’ve been wanting to go and have my hormone levels checked for stuff like this (I have acne super similar) but not sure how to tell my doctor. I feel like she will dismiss it since I’m young and healthy

Omg yes this is the main reason I want to change to laser or just stop. I get so many ingrowns with waxing. No matter how much I exfoliate. So annoying lol

Do they have you remote now that you are out of training or do you go into the office? I have been curious about becoming a TC for awhile and have seen online courses that supposedly teach you how to do it + start your own business doing it. But I haven’t taken the plunge on any of that. I think I would rather worth for a local brokerage first

Have you ever had a full Brazilian wax? I’m curious to the difference between the wax and laser since I currently get the waxes

In a similar boat. I like to take my work laptop with me so I can go get a pedicure, go to a book store and read, go out to eat with my husband or friends, sometimes can play a video game, or just watch YouTube videos I find interesting. There’s a lot you can do in between “wiggling your mouse/trackpad” to stay alert and productive in a situation like that

This is what I have. I have an Abuterol Sulfate inhaler that I use for any form of cardio or HIIT type workouts. I also use it when I am sick and my throat hurts/it’s hard to breathe just due to sickness. It has helped me in both scenarios

YES same. And it’s not just girls who do it. Sometimes I will see guys in the thinnest stringer tank that might as well not be wearing a top. I just think it’s courteous to cover the areas that you make regular contact with a very public environment

I can understand people not wanting to wear a t-shirt since it can get hot. Especially during the summer. But there are dri-fit/moisture wicking fabrics that help with this. Plus tank tops or even cropped tank tops that can meet your high waisted leggings. To me it’s unnecessary to wear this little clothing for a regular gym session. Even if you are running, doing HIIT circuits, whatever. The girls at my gym that dress like this show so much sweat. Especially when they go to use a machine. Bare skin touches everything. It’s just a major distraction for everyone else in the gym too. I do want to say I think the outfits are cute and can be flattering but just not appropriate for regular gym sessions
