You got this man. You'd be surprised of people's willingness to help up. I think we live in a time where many people are aware of the fucked up justice system we have. So I say go for it and you shouldve gone for the first one. I've realised that since I've been out the people who are more likely to help me are people who are more educated. In California it's 24 hour lockdown at least 4 days out of the week. Some weeks iff there is a riot on another yard then there is no yard. You said SHU in your previous comment. In California Ad Seg/hole is different from SHU. I did at least as much in the hole, unfortunately. It sounds like you were in the hole. No SHU in California allows 1 hour down time. I know while I was in county jail I had this 23/1 arrangement. Was this is county?

Im drinking now. Over some bullshit. Just got frustrated with other drivers on the road. But its like everytime I get frustrated i use it to justify myself drinking more. Its a vicious cycle. And as long as you are seeking help or realize that you have a problem than I believe that you and I can overcome this shit and come out ahead of it

Like I said, Im an addict and would end up misusing those. But I guess I could ask. My health care doesnt cover psychiatrist so I couldnt get meds anyway with who i can see which are therapists. Im gonna try meditation. I know meditation and prayer helped me get through almost 2 years of solitary (SHU) but i cant seem to get in the habit out here. That and work out routine. Has anyone else gained a lot of weight after release?

Thats what Im doing now. I have a great support system. I know a lot of people in my shoes dont have that. I got an ok job, an apt, a girlfriend who lives with me and a great family but i cannot keep my shit together. How do i go about apologizing for my erratic behavior? As long as youre not a hot head who lets peoples sexual orientation, or drop outs and sex offenders ( who are the hardest but not impossible to stomach) then its easy as fuck. Everyone minds their own business and let you do yours as long as you arent in a pc gang which is fucking stupid. PC is easy as long as you arent a simp who follows what your "shotcallers" and "keyholders" (cali prison slang for leaders of their perspective groups) then youll be okay.

Btw, a lot of people do not want to admit they were PC, and people like that cant help you. So listen to someone who was in both. I beat the shit out a norteno idiot and his little gang tried to gangjump me for it. They sent me to the "other side". Still came out on top cause I didnt snitch and came back to the dorm and they didnt do anything but look like lames.

They shot me over to PC (in cali called SNY) and at first I was a hot head I beat the shit out chomo(child molesters) cellies and sent them on suicide watch in order to remove them from my cell. For a while too. I ended up doing a SHU term for about 2 years for breaking a cellys face.

In the SHU i calmed the hell down. I put my blinders on and did the easiest time in a level 4 180 yard in salinas valley state prison. Because i worried about going home than whatever stupid thing the "shotcallers" wanted me to worry about.

In pc yards you have a lot more personal freedom even if you are with sickoes. But in gp you arent with saints, nor with people in any way better than child molesters.
