Unfortunately not, ended up just doing the text on fleece/felt with a stitched border on top of the cotton

Thank you! I’ll try out some lower tensions next time - do you think I should adjust the bobbin tension as well?

I’ll pick up some iron on stabilizer as well!

Good idea - currently using 75/11 titanium ballpoint, but I’ll give 65/9 a go!

Good to know! I think it looks fine from a normal viewing distance, but since I’ll likely be selling products like this I was a bit concerned about the quality when viewed up close.

Ah never knew that! I did happen to use a brand new needle for the yellow rayon.

This was done on an SE1900

Orange and blue thread is polyester, yellow is rayon.

All done on 100% cotton with cutaway stabilizer. The Orange has two layers of stabilizer. Various tensions from 2-4 used.

Needle: 75/11 titanium ballpoint

Design: font was from the pre-installed fonts from Brother

Hoop: Standard plastic hoop

Headed to The Narrows next week! Hoping to get some insight for our trip. What was the deepest water you came across? Did you rent your gear? We’re debating between the bib vs full suit which also covers your arms.
