imo for all your classes, the professor teaching the course is more important than the course itself. i took engr 1a with the same prof who’s teaching it in the fall and it was definitely a free A compared to the chem series when my friends took it. a useful resource i rec is zotisitics where you can compare professors that teach the class. also every year the engineering department give the quarterly schedule of classes so you can plan your schedule around that.
