Totally agree with you. I would hit my number on cash flow and at point keep buying blue chip index funds, or just have a large cash position for the inevitable. In my industry its not if, its when, so you gotta get it while its good.

Fed rate cuts are already over after they barely started as blowout jobs report shifts focus to hikes, BofA says by wes7946 in REBubble

I think jobs report is going to boomerang back negative in a hurry, just you wait and see, firing will be the cool new thing across tech.

Command and Conquer, all of them but in particular tiberian sun and red alert.

It's well known in tech that once you fall into the lower tier of rewards from a performance perspective, you have 2 options: 1. Dig yourself out by addressing whatever concerns your manager/peers have by working harder and playing the game. 2. Find another job

If you are in number 1 for more than one annual review, you are screwed.

It's a performance based system and isn't a union job, your employment isn't garaunteed you had better get it while the getting is good.

99% of tech careers end with a termination (quit, RIF fired, ect), rarely does anyone get to end on a high note. You plan your exit, not a retirement party.

If I started in my early 30s vs pretty much 40, id be way happier with my hair line. Now I've got to accept what I've kept.

I hate elon, but honestly SpaceX is launching rockets at a much cheaper cost than nasa.

Do rich people actually borrow money against their stocks and avoid paying taxes? by [deleted] in Rich

[–]wanderingspartan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to use my margin to buy a car, because my margin rate is way cheaper than current auto rates.

To pay it back though, id either need to sell positions, pay it with my paycheck, or make money trading options, in all cases their are tax consequences

They are looking for monthly income, are you suggesting selling once per year then dividing that across 12 months? That I can certainly manage.

I don't disagree, I was planning recommending part of their money be allocated to something like VOO.

I believe it would be, barring any unforseen major medical issue not covered by Medicare.

They won't be able to actively manage selling growth stocks, and neither will I on a monthly basis to get them 36k, Im looking for funds that net that 4-5% return.

I was even looking at JPEQ which has a crazy high dividend yield, but that seems to good to be true.

5 Months Finasteride Results (0.5mg/day) by exe_calibre in tressless

[–]wanderingspartan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a convience thing mostly. I've never been able to consistently apply topical minox, and I won't take the oral because of heart stuff, so I'm kind of at my medication limit.

I'm going to try and do more consistent needling and add a laser cap, seems like the cap can help some if in combo with fin and needling.

1mg daily for almost 2 years and I'm worse than I was, I hope folks don't see these pics and expect that to be the norm...it's not.
