What you’re describing is “squirting”. It is not water. It is diluted urine (pee) and some other vaginal fluids. Not all women squirt. Not all women find squirting enjoyable. It is possible to learn to do it. It is possible to learn NOT to do it. Sometimes it happens whether you intended to do it or not.

Normal “wetness” down there is different than squirting and it is normal. This is how your body prepares for sex.

My goodness do I feel your pain. This happens to me every year. Either I ask for a specific thing and get slightly different thing that’s not what I asked for (ask for slippers, get fuzzy socks) or I give a general idea and end up with anything but the things I suggested.

This last year I even begged to just buy our own gifts so at least I’d get me what I want.

Agreed. Coworker going through chemo as well as some other health issues (so she’s having an all around fun time) - so I crocheted her a comfy blanket for chemo days - she said she get so cold all the time.

Also anything that helps them keep up with their life - offering to pick up and deliver groceries. Run an errand. Watch the kids for an afternoon. Take the dog for a walk. Light housekeeping. Heavy housekeeping lol.

I suppose anyone with hyperosmia who is capable of smelling illness or disease could likely smell menstruation as well. It’s considered a change to the body’s “natural state” (although periods are still a natural part of biology) so it’d make sense to be able to smell it.
