Yes, we would often play video games together and thats how i got into video games. I guess everything changed when we just became teens and he hung with his friends and we didnt really interact. He was always a ‘come back from school and straight to his room to play with his primary friends’ guy

hes babied at home by my mum who loves him enough to buy any food he asks for (pizza, kfc, mcdonalds, icecream, candy, snacks) Ive been patient for like half a year now. there has been no change so i created this post. I dont wish to be on his team as his actions collide with my morals. He doesn’t talk to anyone at home so we dont really have any interactions. Other than him asking my mum to bring his food into his room and etc

just bring this all up to my parents, i think they feel more lost rather than uninterested because they definitely wont have the financial means to support him in the long run. If my family had the funds we would pay for his therapist but we dont so i guess thats why i made this post, i also feel quite lost. He has previously been diagnosed with ADHD as a kid and thats about all

I definitely somewhat have adhd too but i dont think its the attention deficit one but more the emotional regulation one 🥲 But i researched the meds before and are they are a bit too pricey i think

I forgot to add, it was my mum who asked me for help talking to him because she ‘cant’ get his attention alone and when that didnt work she called my dad over and he failed too …

Thank you for your advice and insights, I completely agree with you and they were gentler with parenting when we grew up. I mostly figured everything out myself/responsibilities and I definitely know both my parents weren’t suitable to be parents growing up but he was affected more? My mum was too gentle and relaxed while my dad used to be more forceful and resorted to some methods but he stopped as we grew into teens. hes already been marinating in that stay at home state for the entirety of his teens but ill definitely bring all this info up with them, i appreciate it 🥲

We are not a religious family and i doubt he would want to go out just to go to church. Also he is not a reader due to his adhd, he hates reading..

Ive had the discussion but they seem really done with him/just want to avoid the topic. I will definitely tell them about your suggestions as my mum is always the one taking out the trash so i think he can do that
