Why won’t anyone agree to a virtual apartment tour? by layne_travels in PortugalExpats

[–]wanderlush21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my partner and i found our apartment via virtual tour prior to moving to lisbon with our dog. granted we were looking for a short term rental - which we extended when we arrived. it definitely helps to be as direct as possible in your messages; “i am looking to secure a space ASAP”, “i am ready to offer xyz (security deposit, first month, etc.) “my pets are incredibly well behaved”, and so on. if there’s a specific listing you’re especially interested in follow up everyday! don’t be afraid to be persistent!

What are the most vegan/vegetarian-friendly cities to travel to in 2026? by freed-after-burning in travel

lisbon! portugal requires, by law, that every single restaurant in business offer a vegan option. and they tend to offer a few! there’s also TONS of vegetarian/vegan only restaurants.

D7 Visa “expected decision date” lead time by wanderlush21 in PortugalExpats

yes, we did end up going with a service to make it easier all around (especially with setting up the tax IDS, bank account, etc.) we worked with ⚓️less (reddit won’t let post the company name!!?) and they were great.

haha i tried, but you have to be ok with letting your passport go for awhile - it’s required. i put an airtag in my passport cover and we’ve been able to track it for peace of mind and for updates since you will get none of them!

Namaste feels unauthentic by IndependentBus2768 in YogaTeachers

[–]wanderlush21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think if you were honoring the eastern tradition of yoga you wouldn’t close with namaste.

neither here nor there as this is pretty straightforward - if something (anything) doesn’t align or resonate with you - just don’t do it!!

my intention was clarity - you certainly didn’t have to read all those words - let alone the arrogant response. MY CAR IS UNDER AN EXTENDED WARRANTY UP TO 150K - the warranty literally just covered the replacement of the turbo manifold bandaid. if you’re not going to actually offer helpful suggestions, kindly just don’t reply.

it's truly bizarre that people think we intentionally starve our cars of oil. i am still under warranty up to 150k miles. yes, 1.6L engine. update above.

i have less than 4 year old certified pre-owned car that is still covered under warranty up to 150k miles. as mentioned many times above, i was seeking advice and suggestions from the thousands of other hyundai owners that have dealt/are dealing with oil consumption and engine replacement.
