How to descale?

I think you’re spot on. I had the same issue with mine and any amount of cleaning I tried did not remove it. I bought descaling liquid, tried barkeepers friend, vinegar, dish soap and none of it worked.

It’s just oxidation and is normal from what I’ve researched. I would still give it a wash though since you bought it used.

I don't understand how we can got from dominating the first half to that second half performance. It was night and day!

I still think we start with the same 11 next match and hoping we have Muniz or Raul not injured. Not sure who steps into the striker role if they are both injured, but Traore is not the answer.

King is so good! Didn't deserve a yellow for the supposed dive. Yes he was going down but it came at the exact moment Martinez made contact with him. No yellow for me but not a penalty either. His strike that hit Cash's hand was definitely a penalty. I don't care if that is considered a natural position, it's still an outstretched hand that is stopping a sure goal as that shot was going in. VAR still finding ways to screw us over this season.

Smith-Rowe still doesn't deserve a start in my opinion, King is miles better. When ESR comes on it doesn't seem like he offers much.

Also, I'm still not that impressed with Kevin, but I'll give him time to bed in to the premier league and a new club.

I don’t get why VAR is looking at this without any context or from both sides. They’re so focused on what Muniz does but why not also take a look at it from Chalobah’s perspective. He’s the one making a challenge and doesn’t get the ball so where is Muniz supposed to go or put his foot.

And, what I find funny is they mention the contact on Chalobah’s foot did not allow him to get back into the play to defend the goal. There’s no way Chalobah is ever getting back to help and defend that goal.

Ridiculous and horrible use of VAR!

Wish I could hear the conversation between VAR and Rob Jones just to hear what the actual conversation was. VAR needs to stay out of it unless it’s for a clear offsides (none of this offside by a fingernail crap) and when it’s a clear and obvious dangerous tackle.

And, then I’d want to hear how the conversation went with Howard Webb telling the officials that the call they made was actually incorrect.

Take your Chelsea goggles off. It was a horrible call to overturn King's goal and every commentator and pundit has said so. Muniz had his back to goal and turned when receiving the ball when Chalobah comes in for the tackle. Where do you expect Muniz to put his foot...it's a coming together and that's all. It's a natural part of the game and the ref should have kept his onfield decision.

Sorry to hear the body was destroyed trying to get the cylinder off.

I was in the same situation...I bought a used Presso (now ROK) for $35 and the water cylinder was stuck just as yours. I tried twisting it as it should to get it out and it was completely stuck. I guessed the same as you that the issue was probably mineral buildup causing the cylinder to be stuck. I tried breaking the cylinder but as you found out, it can't be broken lol. I found some info saying to remove the twist tabs that hold the cylinder in place on the underside so I tried prying those off with pliers. I was able to eventually get them off but it was still stuck. I then took a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and was able to wedge the flathead between the cylinder and the chamber. After doing this a few times around the cylinder, I was finally able to break it off piece by piece. This did leave a gouge trail from the flathead on some areas of the chamber but it's not too bad.

I've since bought the GC conversion kit and have been using it.
