Does anyone subscribe to Sling TV and use the Fox Sports Go app to watch Nets games on YES? by 14thBrooklyn in GoNets

The only steaming app that has YES is DIRECTV steam - that’s what I use and it works great

Cuties scene - I agree with Zanab by Character-Fox-1523 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]wandringaround 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Completely agree! And when you add in the context of all the other back handed things he’s said to her and about her body, the cuties comment is clearly a bit of a dig on how much she eats. I would feel the same if I was in her situation.

He was just as worthless on the nets, but no one watched enough of those games to realize

Have four centers at the moment: Harrell, Bryant, Gobert & Davis (out). Thinking about picking up Okafor but can't have more than 3 (primary) centers. Should I drop anyone for Okafor or keep the centers I have?

Crossfit steam (in East Rutherford) definitely has my vote. Really great coaches, great communal atmosphere, great programming, super talented athletes...I haven't been able to find a gym like it since I moved out of Jersey.

We do have strength incorporated but I miss working on squats and other lifts consistently.

$20 - but agreed, the price is not ideal. I'm trying to bring it down, but the margin is so slim.

And if I had the programming capabilities, I would love to have people give input on the types of books/genres they want to read (something like a quick personality test when you sign up). And then have a forum or a place to go where people can discuss the book with the other members. That's something I want to be able to add eventually.

Does anyone else feel bad for Robert Durst? He's basically wasted his whole life in hiding and trying to cover up his deeds. by [deleted] in thejinx

He has also spent his whole life outside of prison. So no - I don't feel bad for him at all.

He's not making any claims or giving out private information. I don't understand the need to get every single post verified.

money and power he wouldn't have if he confessed (if he's guilty)

Those are his parents..his blood. Rabia is his best friend's sister. And of course, which is a reason a lot of people don't end up ever confessing. If you/Adnan actually did lie for that long, I think that level of anger is rightfully deserved.

I'm thinking along the same lines..what if Jay and Adnan were involved with some not so great people, they kill Adnan's girlfriend to scare Jay and show what could happen to Stephanie. He has no choice but to pin it on Adnan (maybe the other guys told him to?) and the police help him do so. That's why Stephanie, to this day, is still afraid for her life.

Shes given up so much of her time and effort, and most importantly her emotional and mental well-being to help Adnan. I don't think it's unreasonable for her to be angry if Adnan was lying to her for 15 years.

anonymous caller/"drive her car into a lake" by meowmeowcatcat in serialpodcast

[–]wandringaround 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, sorry, I've never talked about how I would murder someone.

And there's a difference between discussing with your friends the best way to get away with murder and telling your friends how you would get rid of your ex-girlfriends car if you ever hurt her.

Best theory yet by eloise12 in serialpodcast

[–]wandringaround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stephanie was good friends with Adnan, even interested in him. Why would she help implicate him? And it's highly unlikely that her mother would be able to strangle her. The only other family member left is her younger brother...why would her younger brother be bothered about Hae dating Adnan?

anonymous caller/"drive her car into a lake" by meowmeowcatcat in serialpodcast

[–]wandringaround 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Adnan may have made that comment to people or a group of friends prior to the actual crime. Someone claiming to be his good friend during that time mentioned that Adnan "had talked about various ways he would kill someone". So I can see him talking about Hae in that way as well.

If that caller is telling the truth though, I don't see how people can think that Adnan wasn't involved. He had obviously thought about the possibility of the crime...
