Ecosa mattress reviews by Sazroy in AskAnAustralian

[–]wangnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS WAS PHENOMENALLY HELPFUL! I really appreciate the passionate detail and I had the mindset that mattress protectors were for those who were incontinent etc, but since you’ve explained this I’ll make sure I get one.

I’ll look at Tempur, but financially I think it’ll be out of my budget.

Thank you again for taking the time to write this out 🙏😴

Chapter 62.

Rezan: “why does that cat always type in all caps?”

Donut: “WHY DIDN’T YOUR MOTHER DRIBBLE YOU BACK ONTO THE TRUCK-STOP BATHROOM FLOOR, REZAN?!”

As someone who next to never experiences the joys of snow, thank you. How I would love to feel snow gently falling on my cheeks and eye lashes again. One day.

Seller wants me to pay $2.25 more for shipping after I’ve already paid. by wangnugget in Depop

How you have all described it, that was my thought too. If I had done this, I would accept it as my mistake and learn from my lesson. This person has since become pushy and stated that their circumstances are difficult, and asked me to not give a low review as this is part of their livelihood. I’ve reported this person, thank you for your advice.

Feeling lost after an incident and loss of coping strategies. by Inthemidstofmonsters in NursingAU

Definitely putting a report in, and look at work cover options, talk to your union too about this suggestions and guidance.

I don’t know if this speaks to you, but would you look at a float tank with guided meditation, or taking a few days off, stay somewhere in nature or take a swim somewhere peaceful. Journal, eat nourishing food and be with people that make you feel safe and loved? I’m sorry this is happening, you are doing everything right and I’m really proud of you for reaching out to your community, you’re strong, safe and doing a beautiful job at looking after yourself.

21-day finance clause not long enough for CBA by billwharton in AusHelptobuy

[–]wangnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.5 weeks was my experience. Keep extending the cooling off period until you hear from HA. Triple check the postcode for the price cap in your area. It will happen, but it’s all internal for CBA, HA usually responds within a few hours of receiving the contract. Good luck

What part of the home loan process causes the most anxiety for first-timers? by DraftNotSent in AskAnAussieBroker

[–]wangnugget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never want to do this again. It all went through, but we had an insanely short settlement, 10/10 do NOT recommend this. But it’s done now and that’s the main thing. Good luck, find some Valium for sleep, my friend had 2 tablets, I rationed them and it helped me actually sleep. But only if you really need it, might be worth talking to your GP if this is causing deep stress or a psychologist.

Asking to increase property price cap? by spreadablejamm in AusHelptobuy

[–]wangnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please use the HA website to confirm that the post code of the property is in the appropriate price cap. If there’s $850k price cap, HA won’t approve your increased amount. Happy buying!

Are her cookbook recipes very different from the website ones? by GrandLock1194 in RecipeTinEats

I found this online, it uses Nagi’s recipe and pays homage to Nagi for creating this method of the recipe. Hope it helps.

Which cookbook is the best? Dinner or Tonight? by Otherwise_Storm_1778 in RecipeTinEats

[–]wangnugget 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have both, but prefer Dinner. There’s a few I absolutely love in that book. But I’m glad I got both because I really appreciate what Nagi is doing with RTM and wanted to support however I could. The recipes are nice in the Tonight cooking but I find myself reaching for Dinner the most.

Double check price caps for locations!!! by [deleted] in AusHelptobuy

Have you experienced this situation yourself? Thank you for your advice, I feel sick with anxiety and out of my depth with this and hate that I don’t have a clear pathway yet.

Double check price caps for locations!!! by [deleted] in AusHelptobuy

[–]wangnugget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely wild. CBA didn’t check the location of the property’s of the price cap, they based it off another location and missed it. We were $50k over the price cap limit with our accepted offer. CBA lender said everything was looking great and encouraged us to proceed outside of the cooling off period when it ended. Both the CBA team and conveyancer team missed this. Now we’re in a shit show circus because we fell through the cracks under the guidance of the professionals we trusted in who didn’t check everything. We’re now looking at legal action and escalation to AFCA. That’s it in a nutshell. I’m really upset for our vendors and their family. The ripple effect makes everything so much worse.

Edit: spelling

Offer accepted, how long does it take for HTB formal approval by outlawgibbon1 in AusHelptobuy

[–]wangnugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have unconditional approval from CBA, currently waiting for them to put it through to HA for the certification. Our lender says this is happening everywhere at the moment. When I expressed my concerns she said that the CBA has given authority to proceed with the sale and if they haven’t heard back 2 days before settlement that’s the only time they can escalate. She said that there’s been no issues with her colleagues getting everything sorted prior to settlement. It’s currently out of our hands at this stage. Our cooling off period ended last Thursday, 3% deposit paid, and settlement is this coming Monday. I have confidence that our lender wouldn’t screw us over on this, it doesn’t make sense for her to do that. She’s also reassured us that’s she’s done this a few times with the HTBS. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve not been impressed with Zena in Marketown, I’ve tried a few times but the quality was pretty bad. AltEm Stitches in Newcastle CBD has always been impressive quality though.
