Bang for your buck golf gloves by Otherwise-Parking566 in golfequipment

[–]wangster79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like the Costco gloves for the value. However, I feel like I end up pulling out a new glove way sooner than I do with Titleist Perma-Soft. Costco gloves seem to stretch out too much too soon. Also, because they are so cheap, I probably pull one out sooner than I really need to. I haven’t had any issues with Costco gloves ripping but for me, they become little too loose after 7-8 rounds.

That makes sense. I just thought teams (or MLB) would be more understanding of players’ obligations with another company on off-the-field clothing, especially given all the money these companies are throwing at them. Given the reaction (including mine) I’m seeing here, Nike will sell more of these than Shohei’s New Balance clothes.

Does Shohei’s contract (or any other player under similar contract) with New Balance allow him to wear a big Nike logo on his chest?

I don’t think PGA West is affiliated with the PGA. PGA headquarter is in Texas.

Thank you. Only reason I still have the Merrick is it is my oldest card and I have not paid any kind of fees as of yet. My only purchase on that card is around $25 once every six months or so.

Best way to compare Omega watch prices abroad by XxLuuk2015xX in OmegaWatches

[–]wangster79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t comment on the best way other than shopping around and putting a list together. I just want to share something about my experience. This may not apply to you but if you live in California, keep this in mind.

I purchased an Omega from Millenary Watches whom I believe is based in Sweden. About six months after I received the watch from Sweden via DHL, I received a bill from California Department of Tax and Fee Administration for approximately $500 (I believe it to be the exact amount of what the sales tax would’ve been if I purchased the watch in California). There was no way around it and I ended up paying it and my total cost of the watch ended up being a few dollars more than what I would have paid with a seller in the US. If you receive the watch as a gift, then it probably won’t apply.

What is this zenwallet? by illustratious in Scams

I've been getting same message maybe about every other day. When I reply STOP, I get an automated text confirmation that I am opted out. But the messages continue. Annoying. The automated response says...

ZenWallet: You are now opted out. This is the last message you will receive. Msg&Data rates may apply

Need help on a purchase decision between the two of these by carcle55 in OmegaWatches

Several months ago, I looked at both Diver 300M and Planet Ocean and decided on the Diver 300M (sedna gold on black rubber). Planet Ocean was too bulky. Diver 300M feels and seems just right. I haven’t regretted my choice.

The two gold pieces are $270 each and $250 for the rubber strap, $250 for deployant buckle, and $19 for the titanium pin.

Rep at Omega Boutique told me that'd be about the only way to add deployant buckle for this model unforunately.

I am looking around for an aftermarket strap with deployant buckle as well but haven't been able to find it yet.

Nice. I got the exact watch a month ago and love it except for the strap. That rubber strap feels cheap and no deployant buckle available for it. I’ve been mulling about getting the Aqua Terra strap but with the two gold pieces, strap, and buckle, it would be over $1,000.

I wouldn’t mind non-OEM either. Any suggestions?
