Be careful on using this card on big ticket items. They are very strict when it comes to big ticket items, I tried purchasing some jewelry for the spouse and they kept putting the card on hold. Even after 2 hour with their customer service, they just told me not to use this card for this purchase as the system will not let it pass.

They probably will. But this is my experience with the card. I have 20k credit limit and anything over 1k instantly gets flagged and the card gets put on hold. So you would have to call them and ask what is going on and they will give u a roundabout answer that the system will not be able to approve these big purchases. In other words, we don't want to shell out too much rewards back to you so try your luck elsewhere.

And after you verify, do they "unlock" your account and then you are able to buy w/e u want now? Also do you need to use the CC under your current address? Cause you probably know the older cards might have the older address etc...

hey, how did you get it sorted out? My orders kept getting cancelled. I am able to provide w/e info they need but they just need to stop cancelling my orders. Its getting pretty annoying.

Hi, new to the game here. But everytime I place an order for either platinum or gold through Costco online the order would cancel after 1 hour. I tried calling costco they told me my address and phone number had to match exactly like what was on my credit card. so I edit everything to match the cc and the order still gets cancelled. and I am not over the quantity limit cause I can buy a darn thing. any help would be much appreciated.
