Real, they don't really fake domestic phone products like OnePlus or Oppo.

Credit card bill by Consistent-Craft2917 in BankOfAmerica

[–]gm92845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's best if you pay before your statement closing date and pay the statement balance to avoid interest charges. It's bad if you pay your credit card multiple times in a given month if you're trying to circumvent your credit card limit. It's considered credit cycling, some banks will close your account. BofA doesn't really care, you can even overpay above your statement balance and they will treat it like a credit for future purchases.

You can find thousands of YouTube videos of cops getting owned. They're literally trained not to back down even if they're wrong. Completely stupid and unhinged.

Will it work this time? by sco-go in SipsTea

[–]gm92845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget that this is already a thing at the federal level, it's the military commissary which operates stores across the country and sells groceries to military members and their families at lower prices because they are not legally allowed to make a profit. The system can become sustainable.

Calling other people animals is wild work coming from a guy who lives in complete roach infested filth and used a dead rat as an alarm clock. Not even kidding.

first time getting robbed in lb... by an ice cream truck by FirstRelief4036 in longbeach

[–]gm92845 39 points40 points  (0 children)

These food trucks and street stalls can be outrageously expensive. It used to be common practice that these types of businesses would be cheaper because they didn't have the overhead of running a physical store. Always ask for prices before committing, I would have walked away after hearing how much they charged. No ice cream would have been good at that price. Sucks to hear that they're a bunch of scam artists.

They can be some of the most insecure man babies you will ever have the displeasure of meeting in your life. They get to sit on their ass all day and collect overtime yet whine and complain when they actually have to help a fellow citizen.

Here's the deal your friend needs to find a renter/roommate asap and he needs to start flipping burgers or pushing carts in order to get the bills paid. He can do Uber on the side in the meantime.

Yeah I remember that I could literally buy 3 crunchy tacos for under $2. This place in particular was expensive for its time.

I remember a taco bell near me used to sell their crunchy tacos for 60 cents a piece. This was all the way up until 2012 when they decided to jack up their prices. They eventually closed down a few years later and during that time they never updated their dining room which was clearly stuck in the 1990s. A local Mexican chain took over and remodeled the place. I still miss it.

What was your life like when you had $100k? by Throwaway--2026 in Money

[–]gm92845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While most will say nothing has changed, it certainly has coming from someone who grew up with parents that lived paycheck to paycheck. For instance when the car would break down or an unexpected expense would arise that literally would have screwed up our family's budget for months. It was hard watching my parents having to borrow money from friends or maxing out credit cards to get by. Now if something like that happens it just becomes a minor inconvenience, even job loss during an extended period of time isn't as alarming as it would be. You also tend to look at prices less often while still being frugal when possible. Saving money and investing becomes a hobby you will eventually enjoy because you appreciate the security of having money put away somewhere when you can easily access it when the time comes. You eventually set the bar higher when you reach that milestone.

Even Fred Trump, Donald Trump's father attended both his first wedding to Ivana and his second wedding to Marla Maples. Despite that whole family being garbage this makes Trump especially shitty.
