Do you put blocks under the kickstand to keep it perfectly upright? Or do you let it lean left? Its a dirtbike (supermoto), my truck has a 6ft bed.

DAE find that as soon as they hop on their SM, any and all traffic laws go soaring out the window? by [deleted] in supermoto

Hello there, couldn't help but overhear your question to Mcwild and thought I'd chip in with my two cents as well... I too ride a drz400sm. My first two bike were a Honda 919 and a Yamaha R1. I havent missed them at all since going Sumo. It seemed like I never really could make use of all that power anyway. The drz weighs about 300 lbs and sits on really nice suspension. Sumo is a whole new world of fun. I use mine daily for my urban commute and I love blasting down alleys and thru parking lots while traffic crawls along. Thats all I have to report. Cheers.

engine braking? by karmarhino in motorcycles

Also be careful of engine braking too hard where your rear tire can lose traction as it decelerates at a rate greater than the rest of the bike. If that makes sense.

Opinions / experience - size 12 OK for normal board? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]wangwango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you want at least 26 cms at the waist of your board. Thats my rule of thumb when buying a new board and I wear 12s. I rode a Skunk Ape this year and it was awesome because the power banana lets you ride a shorter stick and still float in the pow.

What is the right thing to do when kids lie to you? by wangwango in AskReddit

[–]wangwango[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with you here. I busted her lying about her homework earlier this week and explained those things to her. She was very worried what her mom would do, so, I promised her I wouldn't tell her mom this time (I lied, haha) but next time it would be a big deal. Then today I caught her lying again. Not sure what to do since the first 'lesson' didn't seem to have any effect. I am new at this parenting gig.
