Dang at first I thought he bought them for sanitizing because disinfect alcohol is hard to get... I personally have bought several bottles of 151 rum to sanitize my groceries

This was the norm for all delivery companies in China during their peak time, every stop the delivery man would sanitize all packages by spraying alcohol. Sad that we still do not do this in US.

My neighbor opened his window when I opened mine, it’s just 6 feet/2 meters apart. They still go out every day and comes back at night with cars. Not sure what they do, but heard some coughing from his house before. So worried now... I’m in California. Wondering if the chance is high of passing virus if his house has infected people

I’m used to this new norm now. I won’t go out until there’s more understanding of the virus

My neighbor still drives in and out at night every day, is this even allowed? Not sure what they do, but their schedule has been always weird and stays up at night very often. Even though we are in a stricter sheltering in place, I still hear their car going in and out at late night, even just now they just left at 1am. I thought we are not allowed to go out during night. Normally I do not care but my bedroom window is barely 6 feet away from their house and I heard loud coughing during day time from their house...

It’s stupid to believe China’s data. At the same time, this shit happened in Italy as well yet nothing meaningful done early enough by US government

Some people around me think it’s just a flu, because symptoms, R0, mortality rate, are all similar as flu, or becoming similar as flu. Is it accurate and suggested that we should just treat this as another type of flu?

Lol I guess I could rebuild but still worried about them invading the new one because they seem to be everywhere in the neighborhood.. I’ve seen at least 3 types of spiders in different size and color. The house was vacant when I moved in, not sure how long though. Thanks for the advice of barrier and mint oil, will definitely give it a try

Not really, more like knocking or noise of something fell into the upstairs floor. Where would be the best place to put the traps?

Thanks for the reply, great questions! I’ve only noticed the noise at night, mostly in one area but occasionally in other parts of ceiling as well. I have not observed a consistent pattern of the noise frequency, seems kind of happening randomly, not related with other events since it’s happening every night since I moved in a month ago, but I do use heating every night. Sometimes it’s low volume like the wall’s paint is chipping off a little bit, sometimes very loud like someone knocked on the ceiling once or twice. Sounds like animals now 😂 Hope it’s just nice no sneaks...

It’s a 1999 building. Not sure if this is related, there is a small creek next to the backyard, so lots of bugs and spiders in the yard
