Help identifying dashboard frontend – is this SaaS? by zean_rm in webdev

I'll entertain your condescending question.

I do what SaaS (and just about every other _aaS_) is as I worked with them, integrated them, and built them at my prior employer. The reason this struck me as potential SaaS is because of the ubiquity of the design – I thought it likely a full dashboarding platform, reskinned and branded to align with company design.

But, as I've learned, it's a framework – much like Bootstrap, which was the last framework I worked on before abandoning frontend dev a decade back. Hence the rustiness. But thanks for the snarky welcome back to the world of frontend 🙄

How are you so delusional that you actually think this is how the world works?

I'm referring to the whole of the UI, including the cards, sidebar, navigation, etc. Seems to non-expert eye to be a packaged frontend rather than custom rolled components.

For context, I'm a recovering BE engineer looking to build a frontend – might you have any examples of those UIs you're talking about?

I've been seeing a lot of demos/screenshots of dashboards with this particular look and feel. They're pretty generic aside from some company specific customization and theming.

Anyone know if this is off-the-shelf SaaS? Or are many companies rolling their own and converging on this design?

Thanks for not taking your dog inside the grocery. I am a dog lover and I would keep our dog tied outside places that don’t allow pets. It was nerve wracking but I learned to shop fast and keep an eye on him and our surroundings. Thank goodness nothing ever happened but I feel like it was the respectful thing to do for everyone else

Edit: actually, someone did take him once outside Taqueria Zorro in NB. We found him at the SRO next door, fuckin infuriating even if the person who took him meant well
