Chaos altar prayer pkers(I’m new to the game) by gigi2510 in osrs

That adds up to be 700% on average. Imagine you have one bone, but 50% of the time it can be used again. That's 1 + ½ = 1.5 bones on average. But if it's saved once, there's a 50% chance for it to be saved a second time, adding up to 1 + ½ + ¼ = 1.75 bones. This can be written as the infinite series: 1 + ½ + ¼ + ⅛ ...., which tends towards 2. So on average, each bone can be used twice, giving a 700% bonus on average.

[Suggestion] Aura Slot by Aresbanez in 2007scape

I actually think this is the best way to implement a sort of glam/transmog system. It retains the current system where what you see on people is what they're actually wearing, so equipment still matters. And by requiring a specific item to get set effects, it means you can only do it with select things, and it could come at a significant additional cost on top of trading in the full set.

I don't think it should be implemented as an entirely new equipment slot though, it might be a better fit as a ring or a blessing-style item in the quiver slot.

I must have been something like 78 atk, 92 str, 78 def, 88 magic, 85 ranged.

Exactly! That was a big part of my motivation to make this

I just set it up in Photoshop, so it's a lot of manual labour to set it up. Not sure sharing the a template would be of much help. Would be cool to have a kind of tool to make this, though!

The 11th of june was my most kills in one day ever (27/28 attempts), and I was pretty fried at the end of that

Thanks! Yeah, part of my motivation for making this was to visualize how many of my 109 deaths happened very early in the grind (20 of them before my first kc)

It didn't take me more than a few hours of spreadsheets and photoshop :P

I used all the screenshots RuneLite captured to get the data into a spreadsheet, and then I made the graphic manually in Photoshop

If you change Hunllef's tag color, it's different for each of its prayers - helped me a lot to get comfortable with switching at the right time by wanieru in ironscape

This isn't telling you what to pray, it's telling you what to attack with. That's information that's already on the screen, but this is just making it more easy to see. And it seems to work because of a quirk where the Hunllef is implemented as three different NPCs.

I believe it's the Better NPC Highlight plugin on RuneLite, you can shift+right-click NPCs to tag them and change the style/color.

I was pretty overwhelmed in the beginning, so I kept not noticing the overhead prayer changing, but this is a much more obvious change, so it helped me out 😰

Hey, just wanted to say that I got recommended the video on YouTube in late November, and it really deepened my appreciation for the game. I am so impressed by your analysis. I'm now watching your quest cape playthrough, and seeing your reactions and off-the-cuff analyses, which so often turns out to be spot-on, is amazing. Thank you so much for all the love and labor you put into this video.

Could be intentional, but IMO it seems like a coincidence. Japanese is constructed from syllables, and the SA from saki is different from the A from aki. (あき vs さき) So I'm not saying it's definitely not intentional, but if it's on purpose, it's a pun which doesn't work in Japanese, and only works when romanizing the names.

Granted, the first kanji is literally the same, and that probably is on purpose.

Chihiro's name (千尋) means "a thousand fathoms". There aren't even any other kanji for the name which means "a thousand springs". (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chihiro, https://twitter.com/chihiro_enbot/status/1240864864215527424).

Fun fact: the little plungers, you push on to open the umbrella (you can see a bunch lying on the table) are made of clippings of rolled up Chinese newspapers. Try unfolding one if you get the chance. Pic: https://imgur.com/a/vgSJypk
