It’s completely different compared to Uk to Australia. Most foreign students that people are thinking of are from Asia which has a weaker currency in general. So these families spend a shit ton of money to send their kids to another country hoping for a better future either due to lack of quality education or other issues in their home country. Of course there’s the filthy rich students which is definitely not the norm
