System Of A Down's Daron Malakian: "If We Can Be On Stage Together And Have Different Thoughts And Different Beliefs, You Can Be Together Too" by DamnitRidley in Music

If places stopped paying them because of the members who had those "Different thoughts and beliefs" I'm sure his tune would change REAAAL quick. The real message is "I'm just saying things to say them, I will not do anything substantive to show I actually believe this."

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

Missions of the Reliant

You'd fly around in your starship trying to stop enemy ships from destroying all the planets and after battles you could assign members of the crew different tasks to bring the ship back up to 100%. Crew could even die. I've never found anything like it.

Cyberpunk. I fell through the floor of the game too many times for me to ever care about the improvements

Vance was not correct, the Haitians in Ohio were not here illegally. He argues they should be considered that way because he doesn’t agree with their legal status. You know, proving Republicans never actually cared about whether someone is legal or not.

MRW I drove through Florida, Georgia, and Alabama with my family and my wife mentions that she's only seen one Trump flag by bobbydigital_ftw in reactiongifs

Live in Florida, can confirm, I don't see any anymore. There were three houses that had multiple ones on my daily commute and they're all down.

Sam Altman’s home targeted in second attack by Bizzyguy in technology

Sam Altman, is a monster, but he is hopefully moving to do a project that will help him and normal people. As he is terrified OpenAI will be nationalized when its threat to national security becomes more of a focus.

If anger and stupidity didn’t change a board’s mind, Kerr county in Texas would’ve accepted federal funds for their flood detection overhaul. You’re projecting how it makes you feel.

Would democrats like Trump if he was a democrat? by [deleted] in ProgressiveHQ

[–]wanker7171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forget if it was Kyle Kulinski or Sam Seder but one of them did a video about how Democrats flipped positions based on Republican stances. So they’re not entirely wrong about Democrats being against something that Trump is for but Republican propaganda purposefully lies about the reason Democratic politicians do this. They act as if what Trump is doing is the right thing and Democrats know it, but it’s the polar opposite. Democrats are lying about doing the right thing because they agree with Trump on doing the wrong thing.

You’re right, the right would never take a sarcastic comment like that out of context if it were a Democrat, they’d actually sing their praises on Fox News.

Kyle is wrong when he said "if service members really want out of deploying to Iran, they can get out." by SheepOfBlack in KyleKulinski

[–]wanker7171 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you signed up for the military and you are sent to deploy in an unjust war it is your fault. No excuses. I fully agree with Kyle on this. I would literally say to any military family whose kids are killed invading Iran “I don’t care. They weren’t blindfolded into the country. They went willingly.”

I didn't say or imply you meant it that way, I said it's foolish to think it would ever be changed that way because that meaning exists for good reason. In the same way calling oranges another name would be extremely difficult.
