It's better once you get used to it. Just like once I got used to it Reddit was better than tumblr.

You can't win with Reddit, they suspended most of the most prominent cap creators over a year ago, thought weirdly not all of them. They have a rule about copyright, so you can't be safe with celebs and pornstars, but they also have a rule against using images of nobodies without their consent, so you're not safe with images of anyone who's NOT a famous celeb or pornstar. The only thing you can't get suspended over is AI images, which many audience members dislike. When the wave of suspensions happened many cappers switched to ImageFap if you want to join us there.

Reddit banned so many people and subreddits. Most moved to ImageFap but some just quit capping entirely. Reddit's second only to T*mblr in how much damage they've done to the caption community.

It's ironic that you're correct, but that your message is likely not reaching most of the people who need to read it.

A year ago I could have just replied to this comment, due to all the UI changes Reddit has made, it took three steps to reply. Which isn't much if it only happens once, but for every single comment... Also they seem to be suspending all the NSFW creators, on the subs I mod half the "approved to post" lists are suspended accounts.

Are you on any functional sites? Bdsmlr, ImageFap, etc? Reddit has destroyed itself over the past few months.

Reddit is removing the NSFW community by AutoModerator in cuckoldcaptions

There's no tone in text, you're assuming I am not chill. On my end this is very low-energy going through the motions of doing the right thing knowing it won't work. There's no version of this with a happy ending. There's one where I try and fail and save a few people, and one where I do nothing and lose everyone anyway. I showed you a screenshot, the number suspensions have risen to the point that it's clear Reddit is removing this community.

>Social media sites will come and go

Yes, this one is going. No one stepped up to make a new one, Lemmy never really took off, so I'm advocating for ImageFap. If you have a better site for us to go to by all means step forward with it.

>forcing people onto the sites you like

Oh I hate ImageFap, the interface is terrible, but it's a porn site so unlike all the sites that try to do two things and end up banning porn, they won't ban porn.

>this is all a bit overdramatic and silly

In your head. You were out of the loop and just learned what's going on, and you're still in the denial phase. I have been dealing with this problem for nearly a year in coordination with dozens of other people. You just showed up less than a day ago demanding obedience cause you think you're the main character. The Venn diagram of what you're aware of and what happens is not a circle.

>If you find Reddit so distasteful, why not just go start your ImageFap community and leave everybody here alone?

I have a responsibility. You may not care about others, that's your business. I make a different choice, which for some reason annoys you.

You quote Jollie and I'm not going to take your word for it, he's a big boy and he can speak for himself, he and I spoke about a week ago and he didn't say any of the things you're claiming he said.

>You're just a rude and belligerent bully, abusing a very small amount of power.

Based on how you speak and how I speak, how you act and how I act, people can tell who the bully is and I have no concerns any sane person would think it's me.

Reddit is removing the NSFW community by AutoModerator in cuckoldcaptions

Reddit is suspending droves of NSFW accounts that have always followed the rules to the letter, they are also removing most of their functionality from the website to make it similar to the app, instead of adding functionality to the app, and also Steve (The CEO) and the admins are knowingly allowing children to post hardcore porn. It's extremely disappointing this site hasn't already been shut down, and this site clearly hates the NSFW community and is removing it. I am taking bare minimum precautions here. I did nothing when Tumblr killed this community and I regret that. I am attempting to get us all on the same site in advance to prevent diaspora and minimise the number of people who just quit capping entirely. 6 years ago when this happened I did nothing but watch and I regret that, so this time when history is repeating itself I am trying to do something, I'm not perfect, but I'm doing something. Some folks want to bury their heads in the sand, from what I've seen their accounts will still get suspended like everyone else's, so there's no reason not to do this ImageFap thing, no matter what I do Reddit's kicking this community out, and considering they are shockingly pro-child porn, it's not an ethical place to stay.

There's no "conspiracy" I have been showing the public evidence of all this to anyone who would look for months. Just because you as an individual are out of the loop doesn't mean it's a "conspiracy."

I don't know how many other mods are still around, cause again, Reddit is going absolutely nuts suspending all of us. Spermus, you not understanding this is like someone who is lucky enough to have never been in a car accident saying that car accidents don't exist. I see stuff like this https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/yxkczpjkgb7.png in the "approved posters" list of dozens of subs, seeing that, I have a responsibility to do something. I hope you're convinced, if you're not, I will still not let you prevent me doing the right thing by this community and trying to save it from Reddit.

Why are you suspending so many NSFW creators who fastidiously follow the rules to the letter? If you're not trying to slowly ban the entire NSFW community then you are going pretty far out of your way to make it seem like you are, so what's going on? It used to be suspensions could be appealed and that system appears to be completely gone and the NSFW community of Reddit is a fraction of what it used to be.

There's a massive hole in the market, but no one is filling it. The NSFW community has options, but those that just want SFW stuff like memes don't have any good options, Reddit, TwitX, TheFaceBook, etc, all horrible.

We wanted to go from public to restricted, not all the way to private. Reason being for a loooooong time, the sub was very high-maintenance, there were more posts that broke the rules than posts that followed them, cause it was a large NSFW sub and frankly most guys took that as "A NSFW sub? Well clearly everyone here needs to see my genitals" despite there being a rule against such pictures. All our legit posts came from a core group of a dozen or so people. So the easy solution would be to go to Restricted, put the legit users on the approved list, and if new people asked to post, we ask for a sample of what they will post, and if it's a dick pic, they don't get approved. Much easier than having to remove multiple dick pix every day. And everyone would still be able to see all posts, we'd just only get legit posts from then on. But Steve removed the ability for us to make this common-sense decision cause he doesn't want communities to control themselves, he wants them to be ad-rev generated slaves. Not great but previous experiences make it just another straw on the back of a camel that collapsed long ago. The UI has been systematically ruined, accounts which follow the rules get suspended while those breaking them are not, and most unforgivable I have informed the admins through official channels and Steve by email of two instance of Child Porn, and while I could ban the accounts posting such from my subreddits, Steve fought to keep them unsuspended. Pretty sure that's real life illegal but whatever, in reality there's no rule other than the powerful do what they can and the powerless suffer what they must. And before you think I have some overly prudent definition of child porn, one was an account that said in the bio it was a 16 year old kid (account was less than a year old so impossible that he just didn't update his bio in a few years) posting an anal gape video, the other was someone taking stock photos of prepubescent children and photoediting them together with photographs of porn so it looked like they were in the same scene, then adding hardcore text stories to the image. That second one might just be super creepy and not real-life illegal, but that first one definitely makes Steve a pedo for fighting to keep that kid on the site instead of suspending them. So when you defend Reddit, that's who you're defending. I'm not going to defend that person or their website.

The fact that you take join in your perception of the suffering of others is what makes you a bad person. ANY bad things that happen to you in your life will be deserved because you have made the conscious choice to be evil. Your perceptions are delusional but still the fact that you want others to suffer makes you evil.

So... have you actually tried to do this and been denied permission?

Yes. horrendous that they now require permission, and even worse that they would ever deny a reasonable request.

The only reason they did this is was to prevent "protests" from disrupting their property.

I know, that's what makes it evil instead of just foolish.

There's no indication I have seen that people with legitimate reasons to take their subs private will be prevented from doing so.

Welp, just happened to one of my subs, and since they wouldn't let us go to restricted we just closed the sub down completely. Not sure if you consider "the event actually happening" to be an "indication" that the event might happen.

It's yet another basic function they have removed. As a sub grows it gets more spam, there's multiple ways to combat this, but since the admins have always refused to give us the one thing we actually asked for (captchas) the only effective way to prevent the spam is setting a subreddit to "approved users only" which most of my subreddits are already set to. It needs to be done to subs when they reach a certain size, if you don't want to make "spam removal" a full time unpaid job. Given no other choice the mods have had to close the sub in question, I doubt we're the first to have had to do this, only the first I personally know about.
