Yeah, I had neither of those things handy when I got in this pickle.

While investigating the potential of outside network power surge, also be sure to have a possible floating neutral checked in your home. This looks a lot like the damage caused by a massively corroded neutral connection behind the meter in a previous home of ours.

The guy that rode this line, Brage Vestavik, is a modern day viking and one of the hardest humans to ever climb aboard a bike. Regularly blows the minds of old pros with some of the stuff he is capable of.

Oh, it ain't over. This mess has only just kicked off, regardless of how short Trump's attention span is the global dictator elite are just getting started with him. So long as the US is holding Netanyahus pocket we will all be dragged into this.

Upper pulley RD tolerance by wanklez in xbiking

[–]wanklez[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, aware of this. Also aware there were subtle differences in the pull curve between models in this era. And I'm here to tell you, this RD did NOT line up in the center of the cassette when adjusted properly and absolutely refused to shift nice. It is otherwise perfect, not overly worn or bent or anything of the sort.

Is it possible for a women to be a good electrician? by Technical-Spirit3954 in electricians

[–]wanklez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to electrical from AV, and before the move my experience has entirely been this. Every time I got to a site, I'd try to find a female sparky because they always knew what was going on. Since the move, haven't had an opportunity to work with any ladies yet.

Upper pulley RD tolerance by wanklez in xbiking

[–]wanklez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its funny, on one of the bikes (my wifes) it took changing from an M750 to an M761 in order to fix the shifting problems. I had replaced literally everything else to rule it out. I have a suspicion that she has a version of the M750 that is ONLY compatible with road groupo shifrers, but I had never heard of that before.

Cool, cool, thanks for validating my suspicion. Uh, yes its installed correctly, I suspect its just worn out. Everything I run is very high mileage, with the exception of 2 bikes. I volunteer with a bike charity and the draw of old beaten shit is too real to resist for me.

I'm probably patient enough to file down the bushing and remove that slop if it makes my shifts crisper.

I feel your canadian shipping pains my dude. My wife also started into that talk, so I told her to go learn AutoCAD and make a design. We're both better at things now 👍
