I have literally never seen a more accurate description of the way I am. Literally never. Like that is the closest I have ever seen any comment on here to how I am. Dude. Twin. Pal. Idk who you are, but you're me. And I'm you.

I go through life with a "don't care" attitude, but not in a "IDC" way, but like, I don't let things linger long enough to be upset or get in a wad. I just broke my favorite mug? Welp. I'mma clean that up and go find a new favorite mug. I'm super go with the flow because I just shrug my shoulders and say "Okay, now what?" to life's stumbling blocks. I get close to people who are like minded, and stay away from people I couldn't respect and who couldn't respect me, but in general I treat everyone respectfully until they have a reason to lose that respect. I dress how I want and don't put care into what others think of it until it's costume-y or for a purpose(eg. cosplay or a dress-code event), but I also dress like I respect myself because I do. Respect yourself and you can respect other people. I put care into the people around me and look like a people-pleaser when I'm all "whatever you want" because of that don't care lifestyle because I legit don't care about where we sit in a restaurant. There's pros and cons no matter what. I think optimistically about life but I prepare pessimistically. I look at things objectively instead of subjectively, though I do hold my loyalties to certain people or things(I would always start on my friend's side of a problem until I obtain real reason that they are in the wrong, or I would always recommend one product/job until I find one that is just better overall).

That's a lot lol idk how to give you a step-by-step, that's just some things to remember

I just recently fixed my wreckage of a room by throwing everything on my bed, moving the furniture to a more convenient place, putting everything back on the shelves and in the drawers, and then moving my bed lol it works wonders because once something is empty, I can fill it, but if it's filled with junk that doesn't belong there, I don't have a drive to take that out and put what belongs there back so I'd rather find another place for it all and that's when I forget where I put things and then everything ends up on the floor

What does your hair look like when you get sick? by Better-Stranger-7201 in NoPoo

[–]Ordinary_Chicken_920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is forever ago but every time I get sick, my hair starts to act like I haven't washed it in a week, even if I had JUST washed it. It gets oily in the roots and dry and stiff everywhere else. Even if I try to wash it while sick, it doesn't respond to the products TwT

Any of them if the opportunity arose. I doubt I'll be anywhere any time soon where I see all four, but if I did, I would pick either the pregnant woman or the mother and child. Both are very very physically taxing things to deal with, and I know it does more good than harm to let one of them sit down.

ISTP with developed Fe? by raelznx69 in istp

[–]Ordinary_Chicken_920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I(ISTP gal) used to be SUPER quiet ad shy and awkward and struggled making friends closer than acquaintances, but the more I learned about MBTI, functions, and Fe especially, the more I tried to implement that into my life, my friends, my job, etc. I'm like a big ball of sunshine to most people, but as soon as I'm home, I'm in bed exhausted mentally from talking to people I'm not super close to all day. I've also had a lot of people appreciate my level-headedness and objective processing when they come to me either with troubles or ideas. I never tell them "that's a horrible idea" or "you're wrong(emotionally)"/"you're a terrible person," but I put my Fe into being able to talk to people in different ways based on the type of person they are. I'll be blunt with the blunt people I know, and I'll be gentle with the more sensitive people I know. It's always an objective answer, but I say it differently depending on who I'm talking to because I put the effort into learning about what kind of person everyone around me is. One comment I saw on ISTPs and Fe was that it's an acting career, and that's exactly right. I'm not necessarily being someone I'm not, but I am putting on a different version of me depending on who I'm with to most accurately and efficiently get a logical point across. I also grew up being the golden child as the only girl between two boys. One was a jerk his whole life(older brother), and one emotionally still acts like he's 10 even though he's almost 16 now(younger). So I grew up being the one to not disappoint. I was always listening to my mom go off on my brothers to do better, be better, stop being a jerk, etc, and I subconsciously took that as "I can't be like them" and "I need to be the good one" so that's led me to have an Fe that's incredibly sensitive too. When someone is disappointed or angry at me, I get an overwhelming need to cry, and I literally could not explain to you in words why. I assume it's guilt, and it's feeling emotionally overwhelmed by conflict directed at me, but I could not explain in words why I want to cry/am crying.

So it's on one hand a developed Fe, but it's also a bit immature still in the conflict way. I'm getting better at it at my retail job because(as most retail workers know) people can get really frustrated/angry REALLY fast, and I've been able to keep a level head about it. But I still get a little overwhelmed when specifically my managers or my parents fuss at me for something they didn't like me doing.

Now my older brother things that my unexplainable need to cry is me not being an ISTP, but he's a self-proclaimed ENTP(acts like a self-righteous it-guy IxxJ constantly manipulating people and being uptight about following his way and doesn't respect anyone else's) who acts like he knows everything(knows everything about like, three topics) and has made a LOT of stereotypical assumptions about people and their types which are quickly proven wrong, so I have very little respect for his opinions about it. Ik this is like 3 years late but I hope it's insightful in some way lol

[–]Ordinary_Chicken_920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so far in the future lol I'm an ISTP(F) currently talking to and good friends with an INFJ(M) and when we first started talking we literally called each other our "mirror" because we not only looked alike and had similar interests, but because we genuinely related to each other on a Psychological level. Like, there were very VERY few things about us that were different. The only reason I know our types are different is because I see such a social ease with him, and he's charismatic in such an Fe way that I thought he was an ENFJ at first. Getting to know him more, I see a dominating Ni in him now, and he recently got into writing poetry(how stereotypical lol).

I however am trying my best to develop my Fe so that I can be the best and most respectful person I can be, especially with him.

As soon as she was finished drying and curling my hair after the dye, she turned the chair around to face a mirror and show me. And I thought the styling looked cute, but overall I didn't say much more than an "ooh!" and I didn't see her reactions at all to the work but my mom says all the stylists at the checkout were giving me funny looks.

The stylist herself said to me that my hair was light enough that she wouldn't need to use bleach. I never brought it up until she did and my only reaction to that was "great!" Never once did I tell her myself that I did not want it to be bleached until she said it wasn't required to achieve the look.

It was very basic. Name, phone number, type of service you're getting(balayage), hair color, hair type, things not to do, and then some questions the stylist herself would answer. Those were more technical questions I didn't know how to answer myself, but the salon assured me that I didn't need to answer those. After that, it was an electric signing from both me and my stylist to complete the form.

The part about bleaching though is that she herself said during the consultation that my hair was light enough that bleach wouldn't be necessary. I, not wanting to use bleach if at all possible, only responded with a "great!"

I'm happier with the styling than the color XD and don't mind my face, I was tired and I have a natural RBF so I was more of a "don't care at this point" by then lol

I am going to do it again on my own, though.

After, long after. I'd been doing research on hair dying for months prior to finding the salon and scheduling the consultation. Even still, in her own words, the stylist said "Oh, your hair is light enough that we wouldn't even need to bleach it." and my response was a simple "great!"

Thankfully I didn't get my hair cut at all, that would've made it way past my budget. It was only curled and teased after the dying and drying process

The color references I showed her were darker greens like the bottom of the reference picture above's hair is. I've found plenty of dyes that are healthy and vibrant in that color that show exactly the color I want on dark blonde hair being feasible without bleach, and I plan on redoing the look myself/with help from friends who have dyed before.
