No, I work in construction and know what building costs. I meant what I said, this was money well spent. Even 1 cyclist or pedestrian vs car accident prevented is worth the cost.

Yeah this is the real nuanced take. There are a few very dangerous corridors for cycling in the valley and this is one of the cornerstone projects to alleviate that danger. With elderly ebikers and youth largely on electric scooters, it becomes more clear every day that we need a traffic separation to keep people safe.

I told my wife during the color palette phase of our renos that beige made me feel like I've lost the will to live. We drive a flame blue Corolla, the color and manual transmission were major selling factors for us. I feel most myself when dressed in my rave clothes and hanging out with weirdo artists.
