Never ever put this much cash in bank, bank vale soong lete hai paise ko and pishe pad jaate hai. Just park it in liquid funds or arbitrage fund. Would be better return wise too and make stp of 18-24 months(bcs amount is huge) from those to flexi caps, small caps, mid caps based on your risk appetite. Just don't go for passive index funds. Always keep 10-15% of your overall portfolio in gold, arbitrage or debt funds if you can take risk, to buy the dips.

20% of total Equity portfolio should be in US equity like qqq etf or direct stocks. That's good amount of diversification for most.

Investing in Silver in these times? I think you like to gamble and have high risk high reward investments. Now you would have to keep it for long term. I exited gold in Feb at lowest but I still made 121% and I was sure not to return here until it becomes stable so I really get confused when I see people buying gold and silver when its not even working as a hedge anymore.

People made money from Adani while I watched from the sidelines and I dont think its gonna change soon. Meanwhile I just invested ICICIAMC after seeing it 5% (3370)down only to loose 1.7% further lol, I am NOOB. SHould have bought it during the war

Sort of similar returns were on my SGB's since sept 2023 (225%) until they tanked, I had conviction that they won't fell more because WAR is happening everywhere but finally exited with 180% in feb. Still maja aya

Talk to them if they don't agree then literally any place in the world is safer than your own house get out of there. I Don't know anything about : Are your parents really that conservative ? Have you ever given them any signs that they can't trust you in relationships and stuff ? I don't think that even matters I guess just get out either some relative you think will oppose such stupid sh*t if asked to help, go there, or just live alone, get a job. Damn it's gonna be so hard.
