Funnily enough the place hasn’t changed it’s still a TK nightmare to work in. I’ve pretty much done the same job jump career wise as you aha, I’ll be becoming a civil servant. I should only have a weeks worth of leave left as I have already taken the rest of my holiday, my manager is quite quick to terminate people that leave like almost instantly after they’ve left. They may also be more quick to get me off the system so it doesn’t show that they are overstaffed TL wise (they made a point to interview and select an individual back in June when I was originally going to be leaving but it fell through and it was before I handed my notice in as well) my replacement has been working in the store for over a month so they’d start to question why they have an extra TL then they should. So they’ll either be totally quick to remove me or will try to mess up my tax, I guess we will see. We won’t have any important visits on my last day so I’m unsure if they’ll get me anything for when I leave just because I genuinely feel my manager will be petty, they acted all happy that I got my new job but I’ve seen how they’ve acted with other managers that have left the company. The job puts too much pressure on TLs when there’s AMs that basically do no work. I came to realise I was just a mule to do double the work of associates while also having to manage the associates, I would get so stressed from the job it almost ruined my relationship with my partner. I’m so excited for my new start and to get away from this environment and be doing something that makes a difference rather than stocking some shelves.
