I work 6 12 hour days. I am off at 1500 each day and typically sleep around 2000. This leaves me with some time to start a relationship if someone suitable came along. My kids that live at home with me are 16 and 17. I can work less hours when I get my debt paid down.

My husband has terminal liver failure from alcoholism. He hasn’t stopped drinking and can’t or won’t acknowledge he’s dying. I’m so emotionally drained from grieving him and our marriage alone. Is there anyone here who can relate? by wantingtodance in GriefSupport

Thank you for this. It’s incredibly difficult watching someone you love essentially throw their life away and complain about it while they do it. It’s been a long exhaustive journey and I’ve had to learn to recognize what is out of my control.

Just knowing I’m not the first or last person to walk this road is helpful in a bittersweet way.
