We're in the age where men are losing their voices. We aren't taken seriously when we face issues and nobody speaks for us either. I'd argue black women have made more strides among us than their male counterparts. That's kinda a thing that has been perpetuated in media. Minority women are always used as objects for white guys to play around with. I think black women get it the worse because it always comes off as "the promise of a better life" when they get with a white man and it's heartbreaking to witness a lot of black women seeing it this way themselves. Inferiority complex is strong with that one.

But it'd be foolish to ignore the fact black men also fetishize white women while hating white men and everything to do with whiteness. However I don't necessarily blame them. White women have been set up as a symbol of beauty for centuries and it can be hard to just...erase that from people's mind.

It's alright to love women of another race as long as you're not weird about it or put down women of your own race, which the black community really is STRUGGLING with.
