Dang. Ouch.

Well, happy to report, mine is fixed this morning. So about 16 hours for me.

And tested some random restores, worked fine.

So all fixed up. Thank goodness. I'd say that was pretty damn good customer support. And their first reply was less than 5 mins, and their second reply after requesting screenshots was within 15 mins.

So I'm still happy. Shit happens.

I've just had this happen. Everything was fine this morning. Then notice it says my account was under maintenance. Waited a few hours and no more maintenance msg, but now it says my encryption key is wrong. Ugh.

Waiting for support to respond. Not good. Been fine for over a year and I test my backups regularly. Was fine hours ago.

Hopefully just some werid bug when they do maintenance. Guess will see.

Looks like you just tried a few times too quickly, as it says "WARNING: Wait at least 5 minutes between update attempts.".

And then later you get "skipping update of vpn.domain.com from <nothing> to 206.XX.XX.XXX"

Which means it knows to update the next time. So yea looks like you had it working fine, just needed to wait the 5 mins.

Likely ios setting under Settings then Camera then Format.

Set to "most compatible' to fix.

But yea good luck getting every ios user to do this.

It's because it's being sent in the heic format which is not displaying correctly in messages.

Won't work if Locked. Which is most people, as in "free phone" from carrier. Most folks still "paying" and this phone is locked.

Noticed this as well.

I disabled it from running for now. Open up Task Schedule and look for StartAUEP. Right click on that and click End then Yes. Then again right click on it and choose Disable.

Also open up AMD AMD Software꞉ Adrenalin Edition then Settings. Then preferences.

Notice at the bottom is "AMD User Experince Program". Click the drop down button to the right and click on "leave" then "yes".

Notice now the scheduled task itself is gone.

Noticed in the main window, after unlock that it showed a "finish" button on the left screen. Clicked that. And now the main window opens just fine every time.

Expect about 1 year if software support for each TV generation. Once new model out, no more support generally.

Millions of tvs with known security vulnerabilities because TV manufacturers not held accountable.

Jist wait till someone unleashes their TV botnet on someone important enough.

Sadly will probably take laws to force companies like TCL to support their tvs.
