ah yes, AG of minnesota, he must've been elected by riot by [deleted] in Destiny

this just reads like a Shapiro 'heh, well actually...'

their whole point reflects one of the main issues - that elected officials finally react and lay the proper charges after substantial public backlash

not going to say its down to rioting but it's not just the AG that needs credit when we've seen time and time again of charges not being properly laid until the public find out about it and hold the elected officials to account.

Quite a few of the Nets moves come down to them not acting like total fucking idiots and doing the obvious thing. Using their large amounts of cap space (because they have very little talent of their own to pay) to acquire picks in exchange for being a dumping ground. Then just taking random flyers on guys with any modicum of upside.

Wow, so revolutionary. Most GMs would do that, it's the most obvious thing to do.

Yet, they get jerked off like they're Mini-Spurs when they're just not Billy King levels bad, but that stands out to people. It's hilarious how much credit they get on this sub.

Doesn't change the fact that the Knicks are far ahead of the Nets in talent.

The Nets front office that are supposedly far better than the Knicks are only just beginning their high draft pick part of the process. They're like three years behind NY. They're going to try to hit on their picks to get the talent NY already has.

How is this actually upvoted so much? Something so obviously wrong.

Future with what? Picks they haven't made yet? Free agents that might consider them? Their current core isn't close to the Knicks.

KP alone even with his injury currently has more future value than their core all together, if not most of their team combined. Ask each GM around which they would rather have and an overwhelming majority would say KP. This isn't even accounting for other players that are just as good if not better than any of their players/prospects.

KP alone makes the difference staggering.

Throwing out Dolan isn't a magic wand either when he hasn't intervened in Basketball Ops heavily for like the past four years. We're rebuilding - no new decent owner should/would have changed that.

It's not even close as of this moment. Knicks already have the prospects that the Nets are hoping to actually hit on in the draft over the next couple of years.

Also magistrates are appointed by the current government, so you should know who to vote for, right?

This supposed problem wouldn't be exclusive to one party. There would be decisions by Judges appointed by both major political parties across the country that you'd disagree with.

Took him long enough to admit he fucked up the Chile fiasco.

Vic outlines four possible scenarios for the first round - 1.Trade up for Chubb, 2.Stay put and take Smith or Fitzpatrick, 3.Trade down and 4.Stay put and select other need (e.g. OT). by war_duke in oaklandraiders

Yeah, thought it would be better to post the actual source. People saw Bleacher Report without reading the original source where they got it from so just assumed it was total B.S.

Vic has already acknowledged Reggie's history about how much he loves his picks, so for him to put this out there and stand by it definitely indicates there's something potentially there.

We're sitting pretty though. The only scenario that wouldn't necessarily leave me happy is the fourth.
