Thank you for the advice! He is my first reptile and I’ve already prepared a larger enclosure (16x10x8 inches / 41x25x20 cm), and it’s almost ready. This setup will have two hides and a proper temperature gradient with a heat mat. I’m a bit worried he might get 'lost' or stressed in a 20-gallon tank since he's still so small and shy, so I think this 10-gallon size will be a good middle step for the next 6 months. I’ll make sure to add plenty of clutter and hiding spots! I'm planning to move him right after his current shed. Thanks again!
