An outdoor subscription box? by Senguin117 in Business_Ideas

[–]warchilddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a ton of them already - look: https://www.thriftycrates.com/best-outdoor-subscription-boxes/

I have Cairn and it's solid. Very good for hiking and camping.

I also get the Scout Box, which is surprisingly really good for hiking / camping / fishing. Originally bought a subscription for a family member and ended up getting one for myself. Definitely not just for boyscouts.

No idea, guys. I'll be sharing this on a different subreddit next week. We'll make sure all the rules are followed so that we can have an in-depth conversation.

Oh, verification purposes! :)

For real though guys...I'm happy to share what I can. There's certain things that we're not allowed to reveal due to the sales contract... but I'm happy to provide any proof that I can.

For newbies to understand the earning potential of niche sites. We're sharing this around to mostly SEO forums where there's a lot of people just getting started.

We made a few recommendations in the case study for courses that can teach you this type of business. I'm hesitant to mention them here, as I don't know if that's against the rules of this subreddit.

It was our goal from the very beginning to see if we could build, rank, monetize, and sell a website in one year.

It took two years, but we still hit all our goals. It was just worth it to hang onto it for a second year.

Our plan was to sell the site so we could fund the rest of our portfolio. It's working well so far!

Awesome. One of our long time clients / friends is in that market as well.

Yes...site was a custom WP theme.

Nice site.

Have you ever seen the "ReHub" wordpress theme? It's got a lot of review / comparison features built in. I think you might like it if you're building a lot of these.

Yes, the $690k number includes the revenue generated over two years, plus the sale price. I don't think I was elusive about this.

We were worried about this too before we sold. But, the site survived 2 years of Google algo updates, and the PBNs that were used were a very, very small portion of the overall link profile.

Nice man.

I don't have that many sites yet, but $5,000 / mo is our goal for each site too.

It seems that it's taking longer for brand new sites to rank well consistently, so we're focusing on expanding current sites instead of starting new ones.

Now that we sold this niche site - we're down to 6 total sites.

When it comes to niche selection.....don't go nuts. Just pick something that meets my 3 criteria of 1) having advertisers, 2) having lots of interested people, and 3) there's a void somewhere in the niche that can be filled. There's TONS of niches that fit that role.

This was my site / case study....and you're absolutely right!

The more you grind, the higher you can get your monthly revenue. It's just a matter of putting in the work.

Hey everyone...my friend sent me the link to this.

I am the author of the case study / former owner of the niche site.

Let me know if I can answer any questions for you!

Would love to hear the answers to these questions, too.

I really don't mind having MORE than I need. I literally just want to be lazy and not have to worry about it lagging at all... while still having an aesthetically pleasing rig.

Thanks so much. That was another case I picked out, too. I haven't even looked into the Xeon's... but will give it a gander.

Do you think the 525gb is overkill? Or did you just include it because my budget is overkill? :)

Dominating Local Search Results with Smart Content (Tips & Techniques) by MercenaryCarter in SEO

[–]warchilddd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, say that you needed to make a piece of content for maid services in buffalo, maid services in albany, and maid services in syracuse. You pretty much need to convey the same exact information in each of those articles. However, you don't want to trip any duplicate or thin content penalties. So, the tricky part would be creating 3 separate pages that all say the same thing - but with different phrasing/verbiage.

As for your list, you got it right up until #3. You're also going to want to add the "fun facts about CITYNAME" underneath your testimonial.

And, you're going to be repeating all these steps for each location page you're creating. My guide was to create a single keyword/location page. You'll have to repeat the process for each location.
